  • Next time pearl jam plays vancouver I'll hafto get pops to conjure up a platter... make it special or something. One time for a hockey party he made a platter of sushi with a roll in the middle that had hockey sticks in it... i don't know how the hell he does it but he really is an artist :)

Wow that is awesome!! It is a deal I will be there. Should be next summer ;) *fingers crossed* and then head down to the Gorge(a girl can dream :p)

I think I'm the only one in the world who does not like sushi!!
I hate sushi as well. I can't eat anything that doesn't have a taste on it.
But then again, I've never really tried "real" Japanese sushi so I don't really if I dislike it or not.

I'd love to visit Japan someday but not because of their food though. ;)

My Wife and I love Sushi, anyone been to Nobu lately?.. We went once about 5 years ago to the one on Hudson street in Manhattan and it was alright, thinking about trying it again. One place we were really disappointed with was Sensei on Maui, we were there in August and all the Frommers and Zagat guides hyped this place big time. It was disappointing.

nobu is nice, and the food is good, but its not where you go for truly outstanding sushi in NYC
Sushi of Gari for more innovative stuff
Karuma Zushi and sushi yasuda for traditional

the omakase meal at each is simply one of the worlds greatest food experiences
    but $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
