So every Friday at my office we have Beer Cart. They used to bring it around 4:00, As the world has been collapsing they moved it to 3:00, now it's 1:30.
And today...
There was actually some good beers. Magic Hat #9, Stella...
It makes Friday's so much better
Anybody got good perks at their office?

Trust me I would hire all of you but we are going through a bit of a downsizing
Although there is a lot more beer available on Friday
This is what I look like monday-thursday

i would think the way things are going right now the beer cart would have been replaced with the scotch cart or the heroin cart

A friend of mine works for a company that has board meetings that consist of scotch tastings and beer tastings.Jearlpam0925 wrote:Your work encourages drinking on the job? Location, salary, position please...
She works for Diageo, the largest adult beverage importer/distributor in the country, I believe. She gets booze allowance! :eek:Cause I'm broken when I'm lonesome

Yeah, well that's a different story. I highly doubt BD's job has anything to do directly with beer...If my Friday's consisted of snagging beers, there would definitely not be any work getting done.0 -

When I worked out on the west coast, my office had a fully stocked wine bar which would usually get tapped around 1pm on Fridays. By about 3:30 the whole office would engage in multiplayer Mech Warrior on the computer network and then go head off to the bars. Good times!
I now live back in the Midwest where I would get fired on the spot if anyone even caught a whiff of alcohol on my breath. Bad times . . .Be Excellent To Each OtherParty On, Dudes!0 -
And here I was, like a sucker, thinking that not having to work at work was a good job. I'd do a little work for a beer cart.Idaho's Premier Outdoor Writer

I worked as an assistant in a commercial photography studio that shot mainly food and beverage. Its the law that you must use that actual beverage in the advertisements. We used to buy cases and cases of beer to get that "perfect" head on a glass of beer, and hundreds of bottles of hard liquor, all paid for by the client of course.
We would poor the beer, take a shot, vacuum it out with a shopvac and fill it up again. Over the two years I worked at the studio I never paid for my own booze. I would ride the L home on a friday with as much beer and hard booze as I could carry....ahhh good times!0 -
