Starbucks Sucks

Someone explain why we pay $4 for a cup of bitter water with milk.
The $1 large coffee at the guy on the corner is much tastier.
I am not much of a coffee drinker so maybe I am missing something. Can't you get the sweets in a candy bar and pay a lot less.

Not defending their pricing, but your comparing a specialty coffee such as a latte to a normal cup of joe. They don't charge 4$ for a normal coffee, just saying.
It's preference, supply and demand, they can charge what they want and people will still go.0 -
I always try to hit the smaller independent joint for coffee, but if you need espresso, you NEED espresso. And I'm not living this life without you, I'm selfish and clear
And you're not leaving here without me, I don't wanna be without
My best... friend. Wake up, to see you could have it all0 -
i love starbucks but that could be because i like bolder, stronger coffee. if you like sweeter and lighter drinks, then i would go somewhere else besides starbucks because lattes and that type of thing are on the expensive side. i personally dont mind paying 2.65 for my venti americano. well worth it.0

I shamelessly love Starbucks. I know they are expensive, but I love them anyway.
*Keep in mind that Starbucks, although large & corporate, does take really good care of their employees. If you ever read Howard Shultz's biography, the company was founded on some decent principles.
They also use beans from smaller organic farmers around the country & the world.

I had always been against Starbucks for some reason until I decided to try a carmel macchiato.
They had me at espresso.

I make my own coffee. On the rare occasion that I buy speciality coffee, it just depends where I am and what other errands I am doing if I go to Starbucks or not. That said, I do LOVE their gingerbread lattes that they have each holiday season. And in Vancouver, their honey lattes rocked.0

I don't like Starbucks - the coffee is way too strong for me. I love wawa coffee - that's pretty much the only coffee I drink. I love the chai lattes from Starbucks though - yumThere's a light when my baby's in my arms0

I agree with you. It's overrated imo. I just recently tried their coffee and was not impressed. Dunkin Donuts is way better..hell Burger King coffee tastes better..lolDig a ditch deep enough
