    ! Best seen with nothing more than the original poster in mind (which even supports a twist), but every person‘s opinion could easily contain one or x major spoiler/s.
    Best of 2026 (personal top 15 favourites watched in theaters) for sure.
    I feel like I saw a different movie 😂

    Finally got around to watching. My son was bugging me as he liked it a lot.

    Great movie. Visually, it was a treat. The movie is divided into two chapters, both of which are great, but I particularly enjoyed the final chapter. Not how I imagined it ending. My son read the book and then watched the movie for his AP lang. class, and he said the endings are quite different.

    Good - but the book is clearly (!) my favorite, it’s better than great. Must watch the other film someday.

    The Korea-film is dedicated to Costa-Gavras.

    it was ok, nothing special. 
    Maybe no wonder. 😉 My favourite directed by Raimi is neither any Evil Dead or Spider-Man nor Drag me to Hell. It’s ‘A Simple Plan’ - but (to me) Raimi had not* much to do with its attraction. The novel and the writer’s own movie adaption are the reason of the brilliance.
    *Although, I remember vaguely the first draft of the screenplay was (way) too long and Raimi said something to Scott Smith.

    Anyway, if ‘A simple Plan’ is your favourite too, then “I saw a different movie” would be extreme strange.

    ‘The Ax’’ (novel) is something like ‘A Simple Plan’ (novel/film)

    Went out to dinner then a movie. New 2025 version of Dracula.

    I liked it a lot. wife nitpicked.
