Are you claiming I said that is the best Xmas movie ever? Oh man. Even with Ahnuld that one is not great.

Since you brought it up though, here’s my list/hot take:

Die Hard (also best action movie)

The Christmas Story (I’ll die on this hill, it’s a family favorite and I have too many memories watching with my family when I was young and with my kids now)

And I’ve decided to add this to the list: Better Off Dead (yeah it’s not a Xmas movie, but they do celebrate Xmas in it. Anyone getting frozen dinners under the tree this year?)

Maybe only one of the above is a true Xmas movie. But I love them!

Really cool, underseen film. A fictional documentary about a fictional featherweight champion that just can't make the transition to the next stage of his life. I recommend. Streaming now on Mubi.
