I am a big Tim Robinson fan. I liked this movie, but didn't love it.

    Robert Redford has died.

I will watch QUIZ SHOW (Haven't seen). What will you watch to honor him?

Cannes Festival Jury price winner (3rd) and Germany’s entry for the foreign language film Oscar next year.
2h30mins - sometimes good looking but ultimately it was too emty and tired plus even without a second of anything really worth watching = time & money mostly wasted.
Seen in a cinema with sofas -

Row 2 is very good, back there the screen is too small.
I almost fell asleep after ca. 120 minutes. There’s not much story power - with a surprise of note in it - but the whole thing was already a big nothing at this point. I’m done with it but all in all the thing could be worth a second view for some people to watch it slightly different.

Edit: I watched Robert Redford’s tired goodbye movie The Old Man & the Gun in the very same movie auditorium. It was a sold out screening but no sofas there 2019.

I bought this movie digitally years ago. Never watched it until now. Some "grunge" bands I'd never heard of before. Starting listening to Flop today. Really dig them.

I'm happy Regal has "classic month" so I can see so many movies I haven't seen before. Saving Private Ryan coming up Saturday I believe, I will be watching that again.
Regal has "horror month" coming up in October, can't wait.

I'm not sure to be honest.  I don't think they look remastered in HD or anything, if that helps.

Haven’t seen this in a while, but it’s still great! Producer had some fun stories about the constraints of the budget and trying to rein in John Woo a bit, yet still keep the movie the way he wanted.

They filmed the opening Tea House scene first, and then shopped it around for financiers without a real script. Apparently it would have been a husband and wife cop team against a killer who poisons babies. No one went for it and they thankfully retooled!

Man, the stunt work is crazy, and the explosions and 10,000 (million?) bullets are insanely over the top, but what a time at the movies. Another great crowd, with cheering and applause throughout.

    How was this?

I live in Atlanta and was working downtown during the Olympics. I had been to the Olympic Village in Centennial Park before and was planning on taking my girlfriend (wife now) to the park, but thankfully she wanted to wait till the next day (tired from a long drive). Saw it on the news that night.

Really horrible how it all played out in the investigation.
