How was this? Son is interested in Wes Anderson after having watched Fantastic Mr. Fox and see the trailer for this.0

This was always a weird one for me. While it’s not great it did hint at the greatness to come from all involved imo.CarryTheZero said:

I’m a huge horror fan and X was definitely more horror but this is the better movie for me.CarryTheZero said:

Yeah, think I enjoyed Pearl even more! Loved the sets, colors, music, and even the wipe transitions between scenes.
Mean Streets was good, but the ending feels a little early. Parts of the dialogue in the script do not age well at all. Keitel and Deniro are so young!0 -
It was boring and there was nothing really to latch onto. Not even something in a "Oh, right this is this trope but done sedated and with stiff acting and I can look past it" way.CarryTheZero said:How was this? I liked the model work and stop motion used though. And there where two "clever" script details I enjoyed.Post edited by Spiritual_Chaos on"Mostly I think that people react sensitively because they know you’ve got a point"0 -
Really enjoyed this. My 14 year old son was terrified!! 😆 But he liked it.0 -
So this means it was excellent by his comments. Sorry SC but youre a critics critic.Spiritual_Chaos said:

WOW! This movie was wild. Give this a watch and see how she really did change the world.
She gets herself committed to find out what goes on in a Madhouse/asylum and boy does she get the full story.0 -

How was this? I have never seen it and absolutely LOVE all of Walter Mosley’s Rawlins mysteries, plus some of his other books.23scidoo said:

The Flash
thought it was good, not great
bunch of cameos, one oddball one 🤣
also towards the End on a wall it’s either Binaural poster or the NASA pic, couldn’t quit tellPost edited by CROJAM95 on0 -

I enjoyed it. The oddball cameo made me laugh, and the final cameo with the "who the fuck is this guy" line had me howling.
Didn't notice the "Binaural" poster, but I have to assume it was just the NASA shot. This weekend we rock Portland0 -
Avatar: The Way of Water
Comparing the themes of the sequels to the original, James Cameron said "It will be a natural extension of all the themes, and the characters, and the spiritual undercurrents. Basically, if you loved the first movie, you're gonna love these movies, and if you hated it, you're probably gonna hate these. If you loved it at the time, and you said later you hated it, you're probably gonna love these"
What a waste of time. This may be one of the worst movies I've ever seen. WAY too heavy handed, a simple, yet somehow stupid, story, combined with a lot of underwater sequences and characters impossible to like, let alone actually care about. YAWN.Bristow 05132010 to Amsterdam 2 061320180 -
