First time seeing it and loved it.

I just saw it for the first time about a week ago and loved it also. I'm not a huge Leo fan, nothing against him, but he was great. Everybody was great. My favorite part had to be the raid. I watched that scene 5 times before I kept on with the movie, I just kept laughing my ass off.

You're right, the acting for every character is great. Don Johnson making an appearance which was great too and the raid is funny as hell. Christoph Waltz with another stellar performance along with Leo. I thought Leo and Waltz stole the show. Foxx was pretty good too. I just love Tarantino films.

As soon as I saw "And Don Johnson As Big Daddy" in the opening credits I knew it was on. He was really hilarious in that scene, and looked hilarious in his Colonel Sanders getup while Jamie Fox is looking like The Blue Boy.

I personally kind of thought Sam Jackson stole the show. Cristoph and Leo were great, but from the moment his loud ass came out of that house about halfway through the movie Sam owned most of the scenes he was in. But like I said, that was the second half. Leo's reaction to him is part of what makes it so great though.

Yes - I totally forgot about Samuel L! He had another great performance and I love how Tarantino immediately focuses on and captures his detest for Django as they come riding into Candieland because he's up on a horse. It's almost like you know what he's thinking and then he comes out of the house firing on all cylinders. The music during that sequence almost gives Candieland and it's crew a circus kind of vibe. I was kind of disappointed, because I was thinking that Leo would get killed in some spectacular Trantino fashion, but of course was just shot by Waltz. The dinner scene with Leo busting out that old skull is disturbing, but just great acting. Just a really good film.

    Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters

It was actually pretty good ... and graphic. The film doesn't take itself to seriously and is fun.

Broken City - Not bad, not spectacular... a little predictable.

Silver Lining Playbook - Pretty good movie, really shed some light on mental illness and how difficult it can be on families. The end was a little mushy but you needed that good ending after all the strangeness through out.

Take Shelter. Pretty good! Michael Shannon does a very good "going mental (or maybe not)". :)

Went with some girlfriends to see The Bling Ring. I have no idea why. It was as terrible as it looked. $12 wasted! But going to see Monsters University on Friday, that should be good!

    Peace, Love & Misunderstanding.
It was filmed in and around Woodstock, so I wanted to see where they shot it. The film was so-so. Predictable.

    The Call. Surprisingly good.

Then O'brother, Where art thou? Wife seldom takes interest in films that I saw and liked long time ago. THis time, she held on to it, probably thanks to George Clooney. Great movie, great soundtrack...
