This was actually a lot of fun. Statham, Plaza, Grant, and the rest of the cast are great. A breezy British Mission Impossible.

    Banshees of Inisheerin

I liked it, but it was also way darker than I expected. The wife & I don't sit down together much to watch movies, and I thought "Hey, this looks like a good movie that might lift our spirits" as we've had a tough couple of months dealing w/ aging family members.

    Yeah, no.
I thought this movie was weird.  The acting was good but the plot was just bonkers.

It was way darker than I expected. The acting was fantastic, but yeah... not fun to watch when all is said & done.

Yeah, had a weird 80s vibe with that soundtrack. Your Next is more Scream type slasher but much better. Not as meta.

Cary Grant (I'm in love).  One of my favorite films of all time is North by Northwest.

We watched the newest Ghostbusters last night.  Ghostbusters: Afterlife.  I remember it got really bad reviews, but a couple people I know liked it.  We liked it, too.  Did anybody else here see it?

I saw it. It was fun. A bit like Force Awakens in that the plot is similar to the original. I’m not a huge Ghostbusters fan though so I might be the wrong person to ask.

    Original cut or the chronological?

There’s a chronological? Might be cool. I actually had wondered that at the end if someone had cut one. No, watched the original way. Son is a huge Nolan fan and had not seen it.

I’ve still got my deluxe dvd set. Made to look like Leonard Shelby’s medical record. You can only access the special features through a weird psychological test.
