decent flick. I doubt there was much from reality besides some hostages were taken and escaped.
I downloaded it on my i-touch and ended up watching it a few times while commuting, the more i watched it the more it grew on me. nice soundtrack too.
yeah, its a decent movie. Made me really think about the mentality it must take for someone to do that kind of job. Production was awesome and the suspense and detail was well done. spoiler -- I liked the joke that John Goodman says to Ben affleck (who directed it) you could get a monkey to direct a film.

I was expecting more from it. I know it's sometimes difficult to thread a true story into a biopic, and in this case the writing fell a little flat. 42 is not a bad movie by any means, but it wasn't fully satisfying either.
It's okay, although with too narrow a focus IMO ... really I just found it upsetting. I had someone very close to me who was living in Phuket, on the water, when the tsunami hit it, and couldn't reach him for a week (thank god he was alive, but traumatized - was the communications manager of one of the beach resorts, and so many people were dead all around him, and he had to deal with it all as a part of his job). And then add the awful destruction and 240,000 people dead.... this movie was really sad for me, despite the fact that it's supposed to be a survival movie.

I watched this too. It was terribly sad. I didnt know what to think of the movie, aside form the kids were very good actors. Glad to hear your friend is OK, I cant imagine having to see or go through that.

watched the first hour and then the last 15 minutes of Silver Linings Playbook. not sure if I liked it a lot, I don't care for the actress in it and in this film she was quite the potty mouth, there was a lot of arguing. meh.
it was ok.....more boobs would have made it better.
That's about what I thought of it.
Besides the addition of quality boobage, it also needed to have about 35 min cut from film. Also a lot of the story was pretty damn boring.

This is 40- A very a long two with no point and boring. Not very funny and oh did I mention it dragged on.
End of Watch- I enjoyed it but it was just okay.
Sinister- This was more of a supernatural mystery than a horro film. If it's raining or you're bored watch it but don't expect much.
Argo-Again anther okay movie. I wasn't on the edge of my seat or anything. Enjoyed to see how it all went down but again an okay movie.
Overall had an okay movie day on Sunday.
