The Old Guard on Netflix. I love Charlize so I enjoyed it. It was a little slow in parts, but the action was great. I love the idea of it too. It’ll be interesting what the future holds for the characters if they do another movie.
I fell asleep a few times. I’ll have to try again.

Harriet. Damn good acting and the main actress (gal from The Outsider) was spectacular and can really sing. The UR went through the town I grew up in and I lived learning about it as a kid but there were some things about her I learned from the movie. Good flick.
That scene was so controversial at the time. Roeg had to make a few cuts so that the MPAA would award it an R rating. I think it might be the most necessary/least gratuitous sex scene on film.
The one with Angelica Huston? I have yet to find that on any of our streaming services.
SC, what did you find “rapey” about Sixteen Candles? Ahhh, Long Duk Dong.
The main dude (Jake?) saying his girlfriend is so wasted he can violate her in any way he wants but nah - he likes Molly Ringwald so the nerd can go do whatever he wants with the the girl who's too wasted to be able to give consent.
It made me comfortable and was hard to look passed
Also, the gong-sounds anytime the asian character was on screen...
"Mostly I think that people react sensitively because they know you’ve got a point"
Many good actors Boring as shit pace I did like some of the scoring, thought it helped as the movie went along
If Ed Norton has a hand in anything other than saying his goddamn lines, it's gonna be about Ed Norton. So, ultimately, what you learned, F Me, is that Ed Norton sucks.
Comments
I enjoyed it, typical Guy Ritchie film
I liked Colin Farrell and his gang

Knives Out on Saturday, also a great movie.

Good flick.

“Put yer good money on the sunrise”
(Tim Rogers)
I also looked up the director and saw a clip of Aria. Looks interesting and rich, maybe moreso whilst stoned.
Don’t Look Now has got to be be one of my favorite experiential films. It’s a heavy, heavy watch, but goddamn, does it ever go beserker.

And holy hell, Julie Christie's body is near perfection.

Euro Vision. Hysterical. My type of dumb humor.
