    I'm fairly new here, I like it so far. The only other I'm a part of is antsmarching.org, I would say the Dave Matthews Band community is very similar to the pj community. The live shows might be a little more accesable because dmb allows audience recordings, so pretty much every show is available.

    Seems like a lot of the more cheeky and humorous folks have been eliminated over the years, which is really too bad. Also, those damn games that always drift to the top. We, as creative and funny human beings, should have more to offer than those fucking games! Grrrrrrr

    p.s. I really don't like the games...

    irecently tried to play those games and after about 4 posts i was thinking "whats the point?" so instead i think about all those silent letters in the english language and think "whats the point" ... so now i just think about Peru
    oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

    I've joined RM, The COC board, The Down Board, the MMJ forum and an Alanis forum....

    I have:

    8 posts on Alanis (talking about the Birmingham gig this year)
    4 on Corrosion of Conformity (joined in 2005)
    8 on MMJ (discovered the band and joined this year to talk tours etc)
    2147 on RM (joined last year - don't bloody ask...)
    232 on Down (joined in 2005)

    and 3547 on here.

    I'd say this is the place to be ;)
    Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

    ... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

    I tried to sign up with Kings of Leon the other week, well something 'technical' happened because they won't allow me to sign in. So i'm not sure how that one pans out, but i'm assuming it's full off 15 year old girls who fancy the drummer (as opposed to a 23 year olds fancing the drummer)...maybe THATS why...my age! Hmmmmm!!!!!!!

    Annnyway, this board is pretty damn cool. Such a great resource for info of all kinds. I'm gonna delve into the book recommendation thread soon as i'm needing a book that is out of my comfort zone instead of reading complete toss!!!!

    hehehe. you kinda sum up the whole shebang Dunk, there's not much point in any of it really, it bugs me that some try and make out any part of 'this place' is more worthy than any other part....it's all a bit of pointless fun, nothing more, nothing less.

    The Okayplayer message board is good. As long as you're into that type of music it is very similar to this board. They have yearly re-unions and make dvd's of them and stuff. Basically they're music weirdos there, like we are here.

    Im a member of EBWF. Sometimes I like and sometimes I hate it. The people there are basically the type of kids that laugh at a paraplegic falling down a flight of stairs. Plus almost all of them listen to underground metal and call you fags for liking anything mainstream. Their mostly all snobby music elitists. But sometimes I get a laugh from that. there are a few PJ fans there though, which surprised me.

    edit: and this forum is better than any other, hardly ANY arguments. The people here kick ass. PJamerica is good too, but its pretty dead.
