Does that make you ..52 ? I'm not sure about dog years.
I think you may be close, but there's still old 'imjustaboutalive', he's older I think.
I'm 37 btw, but I can pass for 36 and a half, in a darkened room.
    I came, I saw, I concurred.....

Not just a number, also achey knees and shoulders sometimes, and darkened rooms always mean a nap, well indoors usually means a nap these days :D

Oh, well when I'm napping there's no need for a bed pan, just a mop, and clean grundies at the end of the week.

To calculate dog years, the first six months of a dogs life count as seven years....

Then its seven years for every year after that.

So, if a dog is one and a half years old....it would be 14.

They grow so much during that first six month period that its much more rapid than human growth.

So Im not sure if you calculated it correctly or not....therefore, I cant figure out your age.

i dont get that whole dog years thing... if i had a dog and it died seven years after i had it as a puppy i'd say it died aged 7.. i wouldnt have a quadratic equation at hand for its 'actual' dog years life... basically the fucking thing lived 7 years.. we're top of the evolutionary tree so i count everything in my life years,.. otherwise i'd be saying i killed a 77 year old worm whilst catching a 144 year old Trout... the dog was 7.. we only use dog years as dogs dying at aged 7 makes it sound horrific and child-like.. really, they were only really 7.. dog years doesnt come into it.. if it does then tortoises are 1454 years old by average.

    exactly!
i always say...it's better than the alternative! :p
thus far, i enjoy aging to a degree. while the *idea* of being young forever sounds appealing, i think really, people just want to LOOK and FEEL physically that young....but get all the other goodies of age. eh, we can't...so why fret? enjoy the ride!

btw - i know a few people that are in their 50s on the board. i won't name names, not my place to call em out...but there's at least a handful. :) i think it's awesome!

Here is a dog years calculator....now I know why Petey is driving me insane the past couple of weeks. He is 15 months old and the human equivalent of a 14 year old and I have yet to get him altered!
