thanks for posting that. i just watched the first episode and didn't realize it was based on a series. the first episode was great. can't wait to watch the second!
They are being true to the books, but being HBO they are playing up the sex quite a bit. I'm still watching, but the books are definitely better, as always!

Just downloaded the first two episodes, and I gotta say I'm really enjoying it so far. At comic con they were giving out a promo comic book of it which was deadly too. I must read them properly.

yeah, those little humans can do that to you sometimes, eh? if you get a chance to catch a rest, i would recommened it sweetpotato. i like the way they are playing out the relationship between bill (the vampire) and sookie (anna). both characters are enigmatic in their own way. the setting is always dark, but not in your typical way...mysterious i guess you could say.
it also doesn't hurt to see sookie / anna paquin in her sundresses and her restaurant "uniform".

Tonight's episode was good once again. I didn't really like the opening scene of the vampire orgy thing but the rest was really good.
I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.

Maybe a nice glass of Vampire wine I was able to pick up a little early for the holiday. Too bad it's made in CA and not imported from Transylvania anymore. Will take a picture and post later tonight. They banned the original label and ended up with the drip of blood.

I love Anna Paquin. Speaking of her and this genre, she was supposed to be in a movie called "Trick or Treat" that was to hit theaters last year. It got pushed back and I haven't heard anything about it since. The trailer looked pretty good in an 80's horror movie kinda way.
As far as True Blood, I'm starting to dig this show and the characters with their quirky personalities. That song they use in the opening credits is cool.
