Back to this DC curfew thing.... If I am taking the metro from DC back to Virginia, is there anything I need to be aware of? Will Pearl Jam be starting this concert early and ending it on time for this curfew? I'm just a little worried, because it will just be me and my daughter going to the concert alone and I don't want us to get stuck somewhere.
you should be fine, the show will probably be done at 11 and usually for concerts and sports they have extra trains. Plus When they say the Metro stops at 12, it is kind of relative. I have gotten on it right at 12AM, or usually 3AM on a Friday or Saturday night and made it back into MD.
...got a mind full of questions and a teacher in my soul...
Anyone from the DC area know the stop for the Verizon Center for this DC show. Coming from Delaware and not to familiar with traveling by way of train, but am looking forward to a rockin ass show in the nations capital. Do they run all night ? Will I be able to catch another train after the show? Discuss.
you'd have to take amtrak to get back to delaware... and as i mentioned earlier...last train out is at 10. metro only goes as far as maryland....you can always drive to a metro stop in MD and ride in....but i think driving is much easier.

I too am from Leesburg. You'll be fine with the metro, especially if you drive up to the Redline at Grosvenor/Strathmore. Parking is free there. or just drive into the city and park in one of the many lots/garages around the verizon center. It will be like $20 to do that, and it may save you some time in the long run.
