I've never been to a PJ show before, so I don't know what to expect. But, from some of the predictions, I don't see the song "jeremy" anywhere. I love that song and hope they would play it. Do they usually play it?

How about we're just grateful that we have a show on the slate... if you don;t want to attend, I'm pretty sure they really don;t give a shit. Actually, I guarantee they don't because someone will be in your place.
This is starting to get so "dead-ish" in a sense. Think about it.

quite frankly, lolla was a horrible performance and risking all the money and travel to get something like that in bonnaroo would be dissapointing.
on the other hand, i see them getting at least a half hour more time than usual.
still dont know how i can possibly afford this or even get there. if anyone is caravaning from nyc or long island, let me know.
Get your ears checked son!...you may not have liked the setlist...but that performance was great! Tons of energy and awesome crowd participation.
I don't mean to attack you...but if that was horrible...what's good to you?
"Had my eyes peeled both wide open, and I got a glimpse...of my innocense, got back my inner sence, baby got it...still got it"
no shit..........i thought LOLLA was pretty solid.
I have to agree with you. I love hearing the lost dog and rarity songs alot but lolla was absolutely fantastic. Im sick of people bitching about lolla because of the setlist. We knew going in that they were going to stick to the stuff people knew and from where I was it sounded fantastic and the crowd was crazy. The same thing happened when I went to cincy last year. The crowd loud as hell and the band fed off of it. Stop bitching PJ fan, be happy that we get to see them this summer. Who knows maybe there will be another Vic type of show for the 10club again before.
I'd love to see them break out Deep, or NAIS, songs that they have really neglected over the last few years. But it's PJ, I'd love it no matter what they played.
i'd also like to hear Throw Your Arms Around Me as a pre-set opener or an ITW song

Also, I usually don't really love it when they play a whole lot of old school covers but that may be good for this crowd. Do some jamming over the classics.
And also a s*hit load of great Pj tunes as well!

It probably wasn't. But hey...at least he's not bitching about the ITW vinyl or the 10C in general

i agree with parts of some of these posts. i think that there will be mostly hits with a couple of rarer ones sprinkled in. I would love to see an Ed pre-set playing something like Throw Your Arms Around Me or something off of Into the Wild. I wouldnt mind a Rats, Undone, or Faithful.
As for the energy and length and energy of their set, i think that it will definitely be a half hour or so longer than lolla (hoping anyway), and that it will be a little more mellow set than lolla.. not less exciting, just some slower or acoustic songs put in there.
I went to lolla and had an awesome time, and i am probably going to Bonaroo. I hope its even better.

lolla, horrible?
i for one thought lollas setlist was pretty good considering it was a festival, why go as an opener, education, lukin/not for you. and RITFW was amazing at the end. eds voice was pretty shot, but he gave it his all at that concert, and thats what counts.
i think the bonnaroo setlist will be the same length as a normal PJ show. but it may be a little softer then usual, like someone said. i think because of the diversity in music at the festival, pearl jam will play a pretty good setlist. im usre alot of people will be there wondering how PJ is in concert and wont care what they play. you gotta be pretty open minded for bonnaroo.
i have been dreaming, of late, that they open with this, do a nice noise jam on the end like nagoya '03, and seamlessly transition to Driven to tears...that would fucking kill as an opener, imho...
