    I was in the audience for a live taping of The Dream back in 2000. Olympics were always gonna be downhill from there. MORE FATSO!

    Sunday arvos are generally get out for a jog around the block time. The pace of their radio show doesn't make for good exercise background noise.

    The job finishes around 5:30, and doesn't really lend itself to sitting there listening to the radio :(

    actually, i believe it said you were no longer discussing tour rumors, and to please visit other forums. :) basically a really nice way of saying a thread is entirely off-topic now, which happens with really long threads and thus get closed.....and thus the 'purpose' of the thread is now gone. thus the lock-down, or so i imagine. it happens often enough. i would not view it as a 'personal thing'......it's a 'board thing'....the board is not meant to be a chatroom, threads are meant to have topics...we're meant to stay reasonably on the topic, etc. :p just sayin'....


    however, DO please start up a new aussie/NZ thread when there ARE real, actual rumors b/c i would so like to know! :D


    quite honestly, i am surprised that ANy of the 'aussie/dublin/london'...etc threads are still about since the shows come and gone. dunno....



    anyhooo...i love many an aussie friend and hope to visit your fine country SOON, perhaps next year ith a pearl jam tour? *dreams*

    Ya-hah! I've friggen been up sice 7am YESTERDAY :eek: and it's now 11:39pm.

    Why am I up?? Long story short.....my 4 year old daughter wanted a sleep after kindy today and I said no because if she has a sleep she stays up all night......well she snuck off (I thought she was outside with her brothers) and put a pillow in the bottom of a box, climbed in, put a sheet over the top and fell asleep :rolleyes: Lil gem!

    i thought that WAS the huge aussie tour thread? :p didn't realize there was more than one. and if that's the case...probably ALL the more reason for the lockdowns. :p i had only seen the one.

    gotcha. none the less, bit true no? better to visit everywhere, especially since GTF is about live shows, not the usual BS we all discuss here. :D AET is the place for such, and thus why i love it so. still need to 'stay on topic'....but we can have more broad topics. ;)

    i will say, in all 'fairness'...none of em should still be open really, for the same reason. except the SA thread, i think they should have a thread to speak in their native tongue...besides, most of us wouldn't know they are chatting anyway, haha.

    yep....exhausted is an understatement....I'm not a big sleeper, but being awake for almost 40 hours (atm) is rediculous :eek: My eyes are hanging out so far they're just about doing the typing for me!

    Never mind....hubby's home (usually in QLD for work) so I think I'll head back to bed after I've got the boys to school tomorrow and he can hang with Maddi (our daughter) :D

    On a brighter note....I stayed up last night to try for a poster and got one - so YAY!

    Congrats on the posters! Nah, I didn't try. I like posters but to limit myself I only buy them at shows I attended. I need to revamp/paint my room and I'll be moving in a year or so can't justify buying more posters. :o Some are wicked cool though so I wish I could!

    Was there a particular mystery one you are hoping for? :)
