    :p
I'm actually a lot worse with films than with music you know :p What you perceive as pretension and snobbery with regards to my music tastes is just diversity and a desire to amass a greater understanding of music. When it comes to films I'm actually an arthouse snob. A film either has to be fun, mindless entertainment/in the "so bad it's good" category or it has to be a masterpiece, otherwise I'm not interested ;) No time for ordinary films.

Literally 2/3 of my DVDs aren't in English. I'm not kidding :D
