    I don't think I've ever seen Alive close a show and would love that...but seeing Indifference close a show was really great.

    I don't think Indifference works very well as a closer. It doesn't have the same atmosphere when they play it with the house lights on.

    Alive was an awesome closer at the small Astoria show in London a couple of years ago, though for me Yellow Ledbetter is always the way to go...if only because you can't imagine it appearing anywhere else in the set.

    i have to admit i get really sick of hearing Y.Ledbetter. so much in fact that when the house lights come up and i hear Mike hit those notes i start to make my way towards the exit. then i hear fratboys asking me, "how can you leave?".

    Eh i found it a lil strange when they closed with Indifference at ER 1. I mean, it was amazing don't get me wrong, but it left me wanting something else, the show didn't feel finished.

    There is no alternative. Yellow Ledbetter is THE closer, anything else sounds wierd. If the last person I hear closing the concert isn't Mike doing a solo then it doesn't sound right.
