    I totally agree with you here (on the list is lame point). Imdb is a pile of shite generally anyway, although I wouldn't agree that North by Northwest is a far superior movie to Shawshank. Both are brilliant movies in their own right, but I don't think they are really comparable. Also, I think Hitchcock has done better than N x NW.

    Shawshank is great but NXNW is far superior, who else but hitchcock could make a desert scene in broad daylight that tense, while not his best movie, it is my fav of his. He has done better though obviously, Rear Window and Veritgo immediately come to mind.
