Sweet. I love working with homeless people.

Youll have a great time I used to do soup kitchens.Met lots of really interesting people.Well done you.“There should be a place where only the things you want to happen, happen”0

Seriously....give them the respect and courtesy that you yourself expect - sir, ma'am, please thank you. My old company volunteers at a shelter in Salem 18 Mondays per year (plus other food drives to benefit the organization) and it was always a rewarding experience. Yup, sure...there were some derelicks and drug addicts but just lots of people who just wanted a good meal.believe it or not, we don't "need" anything. that is only the spoiled brat in us trying to fill some temporary solution to an emptyness that does not exist.

"I remember one night at Muzdalifa with nothing but the sky overhead, I lay awake amid sleeping Muslim brothers and I learned that pilgrims from every land — every colour, and class, and rank; high officials and the beggar alike — all snored in the same language"0 -
You know, I kid around with you, and poke fun and sh*t.. but I just want to say that what you are doing is EXTREMELY kind, selfless.
I have a 16 year old brother, and he would never do this sort of thing. Its awesome that you would spend your saturday doing that.
Karma hopefully will come around to you, my friend

it was a great expirence. the amount of people that are homeless is unbelieveable. we went and set-up shop in the common. we ran out of food in 20 minutes so then we went and bought a ton crap at McDonalds and handed that out. i met 'Pistol Pete', he was cool. all in all it felt good, doing that.
and i'm definetly doing it again. I will be what i could be

Every time I read this thread title I think of Trafalgar Square and a sign saying 'Do Not Feed the Homeless.''We're learning songs for baby Jesus' birthday. His mum and dad were Merry and Joseph. He had a bed made of clay and the three kings bought him Gold, Frankenstein and Merv as presents.'
