There's one stat that pedroias better at tha Kinsler: Walks. And whoever added varitek should be ashamed of themselves. It'll be intersting when all the Free Agency era guys start making the hall and there's such a lack of the tradition to hold onto that this game was so drenched in for nearly 100 years.

they don't normally go to such great lengths as they did tonight. Usually it's just the All Stars and a hometown hero. The last time i remember there being that many greats was Fenway 99, when they did the Team Of the Century deal. It would have been nice to see some more Yankee luminaries though. Lets see Bernie, O'Neill, brosius, Tino, etc... Not HOF'ers obviously, but they mean more to Yankee Stadium than most guys that were out there tonight.
