I don't know that it is tiresome for his teammates. The front three (Ronaldo, Rooney, and Tevez) of Man U play extremely well together. Its amazing how they are on the same page at all times with each other. You would think with three players like that, there would be much more conflict between them.

I'll tell ya one thing, Tevez can't finish for shit in Fifa 08.

    thanks.

Like I said, I really dont know much about soccer at all, but United seems to pass the ball very well. Crisp and clean. That seems to be one of the major differences between American Soccer and European is the passing.

No doubt. I've gone and seen a few MLS games live, and the big difference between that and what you see in the Premier league is the ability to move the ball upfield with clean passes. Alot of American players here just don't have that skill as a whole.

His talent is unequalled, again tonight in Rome he was simply outstanding, just on a different planet.

Pizzaro (Chelsea) is my most lethal striker on PES 2008. Funny that, 'cause in real life he couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo!
No love for Man Utd, but anything they win this season will be down to Ronaldo. Can't remember a better headed goal for years, than the one he scored against Roma last night?

Not Drogba? he's a beast in Fifa. How is that PES 08? That header was nice yesterday, Ronaldo attacked the ball strong.

As much as it pains me to say it, there is absolutely no doubt he is the best footballer in the world at the moment. I think he has scored 36 goals this season. For a winger this is just ridiculous.
I only lied because it was the easiest way to get what I wanted.

he is good. not the best in the world but not horrible. Portugal has a good shot at the next world cup. i gotta say his goal yesterday against Roma was nasty.

I just can't see who is better at the moment.
Kaka, Ronaldinho, Drogba, Messi, Pirlo, Eto'o, Zlatan, Henry none of those guys have matched his performances over the past 18 months or so.
20+ goals & Premiership title last season. 8 goals in Portugal's Euro08 qualifying group. And now 36 goals this season taking Man Utd to top of Premiership & to Champs League 1/4 final.
    Remember, he's a midfielder!

But, I think he's one of those characters who some people tend to dislike. I don't know what it is. The flashyness, the fact he's a well built good looking guy, his theatrics, I'm not sure. But, I don't think he gets the credit he deserves from some people, simply cause they don't like him.

But, I still think that when things click for him, Wayne Rooney will be even better!

Drogba isn't in the Chelsea default 11 on the PES 2008. I can never be bothered to sub him in. I prefer the PES to the Fifa, it seems a lot more realistic to me, harder to score. The Fifa is fun though, my kids prefer it.

Hmmm, a bitter Arsenal fan ;) Come on, as great as one player is, they can't win things alone. Ronaldo is a wonderful player, but is also in a very decent side, the way his game is being complimented by Paul Scholes being involved is quite incredible. Not to mention Rooney, Tevez, Giggs.
And also take a look at how mean that defence has been this season. I've never thought Ferdinand was anywhere near as good as he thinks he is, but this season, him and Vidic have been simply outstanding, along with Evra, and with Hargreaves breaking it up in front of them ...they're a top team my friend, not just one player.
    Come on United :D

yeah you guys have put on a flawless second half of the season, & aside from ronaldo, much of that is down to the defence, especially van der sar, vidic & ferdinand, they're like a brick wall back there. there's been big contributions from giggs, tevez, rooney & nani along the way, but nobody in that team has more consistently amazing than ronaldo.

it pains me to say but you guys probably do deserve it ahead of us again, we put up a good fight & had some rotten injury luck with van persie, rosicky & eduardo, but all in all another fantastic season by united.

we'll just take that wee champions league trophy ay ;)

oh & chelsea can just get the fuck back into third thank you! fuck being outdone by those bunch of thugs! :p

Well, of course you're correct, Ronaldo has been the outstanding star of the season. You guys looked unbeatable 1st half of the season, but recently, too many draws have been your undoing.
And, yeah, Chelsea can piss of back to the middle of the table when they like, where they were happy to be..... without the oil billions ;)

u guys mustnt have seen him play over this last season then... since his controversial dive fiasco for a penalty, he stays on his feet all the time. i think fergie might have got stuck into him, not sure, but he definately isnt the diver he used to be

I admit that I haven't seen him over the last season, but I don't follow Man U, so I'm not likely to ;) But it's good to know he doesn't dive like he used to... still, he bugs me regardless, lol.

From my experience I wouldn't call him a dickhead.
A friend of mine lives over in Alderley Edge, where Ronaldo & most of the Man Utd squad live, and I go over there whenever United are at home to watch the games at Old Trafford.
I've met Ronaldo quite a few times and he's been nothing but friendly & pleasant.
Saw most of the players last night after the Arsenal match. Carrick & Rio were together having a drink and were more than willing to chat about the match & the season so far.

Very true. Someone's persona on the football pitch isn't always a fair reflection of them off it.
It's just annoying sometimes when people call others a dickhead, when they've never even met them!

This season my view of Ronaldo has changed a good bit.
Before I always thought he had the potential to be great, but I couldn't stand him. He was a cocky show-off, and he'd generally go over with a gust of wind (and I really can't stand divers). He always seemed to be a selfish diy sort of player too. This season though I think he's really grown up a lot. His diving has stopped (not entirely, but he doesn't do it half as much), he uses his team mates far more. He still shows off a bit, but he's not as stupid about it anymore. He doesn't run himself into as much trouble as he used to. Basically he's beginning to fulfil his potential, and as a Utd fan I'm very happy about this.
