what would you like more than anything right now?

more than anything, right now I would like to go somewhere, for an indeterminate amount of time, by myself, that was out in the mountains/lakes/ocean but was also comfy (not a backcountry experience) and had a complete indoor gym if I needed it and a hot tub and I could walk around in some kind of mumu or robe all day if I wanted and just stay there until I felt better about everything. and with no other people around.

    I want more than anything to make an important, potentially life changing phonecall but just can't bring myself to do it.

    oh and did I mention, there are no TVs in my fantasy world, except maybe in the indoor gym. I think the local anchor woman's voice is destroying my health.

    i wish i could have more time and more money for voyages and visits my friends. Wish i could be more in motion

    Somehow I don't thing GTD will ever be up for an Into the Wild-esque type of adventure. Too hardcore.

    I actually am, to a degree. I love outdoors adventure. but you're right, into the wild is a little beyond me...plus I wouldn't be into going somewhere like that just to exist...I'd need to be doing some kind of sport :).

    Yeah.. the furthest Into The Wild I want to go these days is set up camp no further than 20 feet from where I park the car.

    Yeah, you seem like a nice person and everything but I can't imagine you roughing it based on what I've read. Of course, my definition of "roughing it" is pretty extreme compared to the average person. But I'm a wild mountain lad and I feel like a fish out of water in big cities and around people.

    See, here in Idaho we have a word for that type of camper. I might be remembering this wrong, but I think the word is "Californian"....
