Just seen them in Reno, 911 and yesterday at the Grammys. The Foos put on one of the best live shows out there.
Check the floor layout for your venue. The round stage at the end of the catwalk is where they do their acoustic show... the Main Stage is for the big loud Rock Show.

I too am looking forward to seeing the Foo's (1st time) in NYC next Tuesday. I haven't been to many shows myself....I saw the Black Crowes on Halloween - damn they can put on a show! Hoping the Foo's are just as good.
I feel awesome when I go to a show. I feel like I'm in my own world. I sing and dance. (sorry to the people next to me!!)
I'm going to the foo fighters too. On the 25th. I'm excited, except its a Monday :eek:

I'm amazingly psyched because I saw them in '03 and they were phenomenal - soooo much energy!
Plus, Serj Tankian opening? Hell yeah! I'll be the curly redhead pogo'ing everywhere
p.s. Dave chews Orbit gum. He did a whole big article in RS a few years back on gum & rock stars. It was hilarious. He chews on stage to keep his mouth and throat moist/create saliva while screaming

Saw the Foos three times last year ... once in a tiny club (200 people) and twice at GA standing arena shows ... one I went to by myself (and put myself front row centre of the second stage ... best view in the place) ... have to say Foos shows are some of the most FUN shows ever ... Dave is an awesome front man ... I hope everyone getting to see them on this tour has a blast (I could have done without Serj )
My next Foos show ill be GA floor standing in a stadium :eek:

That's funny because:
A) I feel the same way. Well, not exactly, but I do feel really in my element at shows, especially in small venues.
my first foos show will be feb. 25.
am totally pumped. been a fan for years and years but for some reason, this was the first time i really looked for them on tour.
guess i got the bug when i heard i missed them with weezer last time. (yes, i said weezer).
really pumped. opening acts should be good, too. heard a few 'against me' tunes and i'm really looking for just a rockin' fun night.
