    I agree with the people who say to try Feliway. It comes in a spray, but you can also get it in dispenser that's similar to a plug-in air freshener so it's working all the time.

    I also agree with those who asked whether this is a new phenomenon and someone who said declawing can make cats misbehave. (I'm very agreeable tonight. :)) If the cat hasn't always been this way, maybe there's a reason that can/should be dealt with.

    But whatever you do, don't put her to sleep! I have a cat who's very mean/moody. The vets refuse to see him for their own safety. But he always has a reason for behaving the way he does. I don't think he's mean - just misunderstood. :) And he provides many wonderful opportunities for me to practice understanding, patience, and how to get along with those who don't do what I want.
