    The reason you don't know how gravity works is because NOBODY knows how gravity works. Same for the large and small nuclear forces, and electromagnetism. Scientists just haven't figured it out yet. Jesus, they can't even agree on what LIGHT is, or why it behaves the way it does. Basically, we have a long way to go, and the only thing we really understand about our universe is that we don't understand how it works.
