    I said long ago this was comical nonsense. The IRONY the irony in all of this is that in 2006 Brady and Manning petitioned the NFL to change the rule to what it is today. Where both teams bring their own balls then checked by officials before the game. Before 2006 the rule was BOTH teams played with the same balls. Without those two QBs the power in the league at the time we would not be going this shrinkage business today.

    I'd bet the house on Seattle if the NFL doesn't punish NE until after the Super Bowl

    The Refs will make sure NE loses if it comes down to it being a close game. They can't let NE carry that trophy off in another close game..... Pats better be that much better than Seattle to pull this off

    I never understood the change, and why they never went back. To me, they currently have a terrible uniform. The old uniforms were among the best and would be today.. and that logo would be the best, not even close. Same thing with the Broncos. Those things are the same as the Patroits'. They both ditched a classic look for the late 90s navy silver and red craze. The Bills fell for that too, and luckily they smartened up pretty quickly.

    He also threw 4 touchdown passes, led them from 10 points back with two 4th quarter TD drives against the top defense in the league, threw for over 300 yards, and set a new Super Bowl record for completions. He deserved it.
