    This seasons run by the Patriots to me is far important than that 18-0 season way too much pressure there. Reason being to me this IS the very last strong run by the Patriots for SB WIN in the Brady era. It's win it ALL here and now or it will be some time before they'll have arun this strong with TB running the show. I just hope when his end comes which is soon it won't be like PM.

    Manning had a bad month this year. I would hope my qb could have half the success Peyton has had over the last 5 seasons. Mannings numbers crush Brady's in that span. And they have exactly the same number of super bowl wins over the past 5 seasons.

    The last five years don't make a career. Brady is about to play in his ninth AFC title game with a chance to qualify for his sixth super bowl and fourth win. There is nothing in Peyton's record that compares to that. It really isn't even much of a debate anymore.

    When it cones to big games, no doubt Brady has far exceeded Peyton. In numbers only, manning is the greatest qb that the ever played. But nobody uses just numbers when talking about the greats. Championships matter. Some would say it's the only stat that matters. Ask Dan Marino.

    My point was that g under p said he hopes Brady's career doesn't end like peytons. Other than himplaying badly through an injury the past month, why wouldn't you want your qb to play like manning has over the past 4 or 5 years? He's put up numbers that rival the best statistical 4 years ever.

    I'm not arguing that manning is better than Brady. I just saying if this is the end of mannings career, it didn't end that badly.

    Edit: I know he was out an entire season I just can't remember if it was 4 or 5 seasons ago.

    Ah, I hear you now. And you're right. Many of us, myself included, thought Peyton was done after the last neck surgery. This final stanza of his career in Denver was entirety unexpected and quite the swan song. Which might not be over. We'll see if he comes back.
