I'm willing to dispute this...
See, googlefight.com says Batman has a better chance of winning and well, I agree. As good as Hellboy is, Batman will always reign supreme IMO.Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

Real Name: Harleen Quinzel
First Appearance: Batman: Harley Quinn
Insane Twist: She was the Joker's psychologist, but Joker managed to turn her into an insane groupie devoted to the Clown Prince of Crime.
Crowning Moment: Rejected by Joker, Harley arrived on Poison Ivy's doorstep intent on getting revenge -- what she gets is a major physical upgrade.
Harley could be even higher on this list were it not for her dependence on a certain Clown Prince of Crime. Always beholden to Joker, Harley's true power can never really be released on Gotham (maybe that's a good thing). She's deadly -- perhaps even deadlier than the Joker -- and completely bonkers. Unlike the other villains in Batman's Rogues Gallery, Harley is actually kind of just a little bit loveable. Sorta.
Actually her first apperance was in Batman: The Animated Series episode "Joker's Favor"0 -

Exactly, mixed with the coldness that Sian-of-the-dead was describing would be a cool way to go with the character.
Depp should also have some scruff, or five o'clock shadow goin' on. Dirty him up a bit. Make sure he's not too "pretty".
On a slightly different note, I don't care what role he'd play I would love to see Steve Buscemi in anything.Alpine Valley '92

Absolutely! It's a damn good movie!
See, when I think of The Riddler, I do think more of a Raul Duke kinda character (obviously minus the drugs... but with the psychosis they can bring...) with a smidgen of Sweeney Todd's coldness and Jack Sparrow's grasp of English in there... as apposed to Jim Carrey. He was too comedic and definately not sinister enough. I think if Depp really pulled out the stops, we'd have one hell of a Riddler on our hands
Y'all know what i'm getting at? Tell me if i'm rambling...Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

do a search for "pearl jam" and "creed" and see the results...so that googlefighter thing is irrelevant as Creed's career.Sian-of-the-dead wrote:I'm willing to dispute this...

I would say link the Harley Quinn character to Jokers death or dissapearance or whatever and she kinda carries the torch for him
i was thinking right along the same lines. someone that agreed with joker, out of a whole city someone must have. and now that he's gone harley can have her revenge on the city for taking away gothams 'hope'.0 -
Given what Nolan and more so Ledger did with the Joker, it is going to be really hard to play another villain. The third one is going to have way to much to live up to. I agree that it would be cool to see where the Nolan brothers would go with the Riddler....got a mind full of questions and a teacher in my soul...0

Bane (not the comic version, not bat back breaking, unless they want to bring Azrael in, that would be cool, but only if they keep up the quality of th movie like the first two) or Harley Quinn, though she wasn't in the dark knight, she could try to avenge joker,
Riddler would be cool if they played him dark also."Music, for me, was fucking heroin." eV (nothing Ed has said is more true for me personally than this quote)

I used to watch it in the 80's when I was about 8, but it's an everlasting mark on my memory

There shouldn't be another one. Dark Knight was very good."Don't let the darkness eat you up..."

See...I think the Riddler would be somewhat similar to The Joker in that they are both very psychological in their attacks.
I say the next villian will have to be Catwoman. With Rachael dead, what better way to introduce a female lead and Bruce's new love interest...Selina Kyle. Plus I think it would be interesting for Bruce to have to fight someone he loves...that would add a whole new element.
However, I also don't think Two-Face is dead and he will return.
Also, maybe another lower tier villian...like Black Mask, the Mad Hatter, or Deadshot. They say I'm rappin like BIG, jay, and tupac

How about Steve Bartman as the villian in the next Batman movie? hehehe0 -
nah. I like Depp in the sensitive Gilbert Grape/Don Juan DeMarco stuff. he's been walking the flamboyance line too much and must do a romantic role for the ladies. like DD-L, he seems to be hiding his looks in weird characters.0

My first thought was Killer Croc.....I would love to see him brought to the big screen. Doctor Hugo Strange....Black Mask.....Poison Ivy...would be other good ones._outlaw wrote:Awesome, I clicked this thread wanting to write Johnny Depp as the Riddler.
I think riddles and shit can be lame, but if they have the Riddler talking like V from V for Vendetta, with crazy sophisticated, philosophical language, it could be amazing.
I also think having more than 1 villian is a must, and Harley Quinn would be perfect to tie in the Joker (since Heath Ledger tragically died)... I was actually thinking Helena Bonham Carter as her, but Rose McGowan I think would also be good.
Please, please, please no Catwoman, and I do remember Chris Nolan saying he doesn't like the Penguin.
Killer Croc, Mad Hatter, or Bane could be underlings working for one of the two villians I mentioned above...All the world will be your enemy, Prince with a thousand enemies, and whenever they catch you, they will kill you. But first they must catch you, digger, listener, runner, prince with the swift warning. Be cunning and full of tricks and your people shall never be destroyed.0
