    Yes I think I'm leaning towards selling everything I can.... A new start would feel great! If only PJ announces a tour... Now using the money to follow them and meet new friends would be cathartic:D

    My father makes jewelry, so I gave him my wedding band and he melted it down, added some more gold, and made a family ring out of it. It's way better now than it was when it was my wedding band, and the wedding band is still part of it, so it is still a part of my life.

    I haven't done it yet...just not motivated enough but my plan is to purchase another loose diamond of similar quality and have each set in 6 prong basket earrings.
    believe it or not, we don't "need" anything. that is only the spoiled brat in us trying to fill some temporary solution to an emptyness that does not exist.

    oh...if I remember your posts right, you do have kids? but I cannot remember if you have a daughter. I'd say give the engagement ring to her. I have my mom's engagement ring from my parents' marriage.
