    Not entirely true. Mr. Unlost bought four giant bags of candy, and spent the afternoon putting up all kids of Halloween decorations while I was off training with the dogs. I did eat an astonishing amount of it, and in the process discovered that the Hershey's "Take 5" is an excellent candy bar.

    TPBM has discovered the previously unknown joy that is a frosty bottle of Dogfish Head Punkin Ale.

    I wish! We'll have 10,000 kids from my town and from parts of Boston in our neighborhood. It's old, with lots of trees and twisty streets. When we first moved here they had police everywhere because of the crowds, and then the teenagers would get out of control and there would be pumpkins flying everywhere, cars and houses egged, etc.

    No, tomorrow night Mr. Unlost and I will be trading off the candy handout as we try to watch the end of the Patriots game.

    TPBM's nearest neighbor can look right in their bedroom window.

    No, not since I scared a toddler some years ago. I thought I was a cute devil. The toddler disagreed.

    I usually do, but I can't muster much enthusiasm for two teams so far away when the Pats are taking the field.

    TBPM thinks "Titanic" isn't all that bad of a movie, since the scenery is really quite amazing.

    I am rather partial to Titanic because the first time I saw it was on an IMAX screen and it was the first movie I had ever seen on an IMAX screen. I was wowed.

    tpbm hasn't gotten much of anything accomplished today but doesn't really feel guilty about it.

    True, I had exactly 30 productive minutes at agility training. Well, I had maybe 15, the dogs had more. If I can count the time I spent chatting with my trainer, then it's 45 minutes. And I don't feel at all guilty.

    TPBM knows that the thing about Titanic is that it really happened, and even with the smarmy and implausible love story in the movie, this may be what it was like when it was going down.

    I am taking a day trip with 165 fourth graders to our state capital on Friday. :? 3 1/2 hours on a bus one way.

    tpbm stayed up too late last night and should hit the hay earlier tonight.
