    Not really, we have Columbus Day here but it's not a big dea.

    I won't watch....though every time I get an IV, the nurse blows my vein. :twisted:

    False. I have great veins, and had to have a CT with IV contrast once. It took them 5 attempts to get a line, and when they did, it blew as soon as the autoject shot in the dye. I couldn't believe how much it hurt, I thought my hand was going to fall off. Huge dye extravasation. Went back to work in the Emergency Department with my arms covered in band aids. I could have done a better job starting a line on myself.

    TPBM is annoyed when the person having no success starting the IV/drawing the blood blames them for having "small veins," "rolly veins" or "twisted veins."

    YES, as I have really good veins, they are big and purple...and both hands even have "POKE HERE" scars.

    TPBM thinks it's funny Earl turned out to be really 'nothing'.

    Very funny indeed. Mr. Unlost returned home with two Nantucket t-shirts, two Nantucket hoodies, and a belt with little pink Nantuckets all over it. (Could have been worse, he could have gotten one with whales.) :roll:

    TPBM wonders if next time people will ignore the forecast and won't evacuate, and it will be a real storm.
