Agouti??? Nope
It appears to be a Patagonian Cavy or Patagonian Hare or a Mara...all the same thing. It's not native to the island.

It's not an agouti. It just doesn't look like one. At all.
And it's not a capybara; the legs aren't positioned right, the stance isn't right, the snout isn't right, and I just don't think it's big enough.
