eggs milk and cinammon mixed in a bowl ,,,dip bread into mixture
place in frying pan ,,, = FRENCH TOAST!!!
  • Easy -
    Take two heads of garlic
Chop off the tops and make sure they're not spoiled (green shoots on the cloves)
Lightly cover them in olive oil (or a less fatty substitute)
Wrap them in aluminum foil (except for the tops)
    Turn on oven to 400
    Roast for about 45 minutes.
Pull them out, they should be fairly soft. Remove the cloves, mash them all together, and enjoy them on a fresh baguette.
Then totally annoy all your coworkers the next day!!!
    I LOVE garlic!

I like to mash roasted garlic up with olive oil, basil, red pepper flakes and a dash of salt then dip my bread into it. I'm roasting some garlic right now. Oh, devine!

That's an excellent idea, Bebe! Seriously, if you collect enough recipes, they should sell the book in the Goods section.

That sounds good too! No kidding aside, I use Pabst to cook my yellow rice and chicken. Instead of water for the rice, I load up the cooking pan with beer. It is HEAVENLY!

Turn your pan on to a high heat.
Take a piece of fillet steak,
Rub extra virgin olive oil all over it,
Then rub sea salt and freshly cracked pepper into it.
Throw it on the high heat pan for a couple of seconds on each side (or until charred).
Then turn heat down to a low - medium and cook to your liking.
I like to do it for about 10 mins turning it over every now and then.

Simple i know, but you'd be suprised how many people don't know how to cook a good steak.
I've got a Gibson without a case, but I can't get that even tanned look on my face...

1 store bought pizza dough - or pick one up from your favorite pizzeria
Extra- virgin olive oil, for drizzling
2 cups whole or part skim ricotta
    2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
    Handful flat-leaf parsley, finely chopped
2 cups shredded mozzarella or provolone, 1 pouch
10 fresh basil leaves, 1/2 cup, shredded

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.
Stretch dough to form a pie and transfer to pizza baking tray. Pierce the dough with the tines of a fork in several places. Drizzle extra-virgin olive oil around the crust. Mix the ricotta cheese with garlic and parsley and season it with salt and black pepper. Spread the ricotta across the dough. Top the pizza with mozzarella or provolone. Bake until crispy, 20 minutes. Top the white pizza pie with the shredded basil leaves, cut and serve

    Sift the following together:

    2 1/4 cups flour
    1 tsp baking soda
    1/2 tsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp salt

    This is group A

Temper over double boiler the following (in other words put in a glass bowl, and put over a pot of simmer/boiling water until it's body temperature)
1 tablespoon vanilla extract (or use a vanilla bean)
    1/2 tablespoon Kahlua
2 teaspoons espresso (ristretto if possible, means less water)
    1 egg

    This is group B

Mix together the following using a paddle attachment until all one color and smooth:

    1 cup brown sugar
    3 tablespoons white sugar
1/2 cup butter (soft makes it easier to join the sugars)

    This is group C

Once group C is "creamed" on a medium to high speed, slowly pour group B on a slow to medium speed. The slower speed helps them join better without that curdled look. Then once it's all the same shade, and a lighter shade than what you originally saw, scrape down the sides of the bowl. In fact scrape down the bowl throughout when you think it's not mixing uniformily. Add group A all at once. Pulse a few times so the ingredients don't fly off. Then mix until incorporated, but not one mix more than that. Then add 5 oz (or more it's up to you) of M&Ms. The kahlua evens the bitterness of the M&Ms. Let sit in the fridge for an hour. This will help to harden the butter and the cookies would be less likely to spread. However, too long and the kahlua may overpower.

Using a 1/4 cup or a large ice cream scoop, dollop cookies on prepared pans. With a wet hand smush down so they are not domed. I use a meat pounder. They may be about 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick. Makes about 15-18 cookies. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for about 19 minutes. Switch front to back half way through. The middle should still be a little soft to the touch, but the outer parts may be set. Let stand on baking sheet about 2 minutes after take out from oven. Then transfer to baking sheet to cool.

Next time the Caramel Walnut Chocolate Chunk recipe.

Oh and here is a dip that is very simply but extremely sassy:

    1lb ground turkey meat
    1 thing of cream cheese
    1 container of sour cream
    2 packets of taco seasoning
1 packet of shredded mexican blend cheese
    green onion
    tomato
    black olives

Cook turkey meat in pan with taco seasoning (the recipe originally called for two packets but I put almost two in for more taste). Combine sour cream and cream cheese then add meat in after it's cooked. Just pour evenly into a casserole dish and sprinkle cheese on top and add toppings of your liking. I got huge compliments of this at picnic I took it too. So simply but extremely good. Much better then using beef.
i have to remain at top sassiness, even though my inner sass is struggling
  • This is called Smurf Dip. Not classy but yummy. And I detest Velveeta.

    1 Large Brick of Velveeta
    1.5 Lbs. Bulk Hot Sausage
    1 Jar Hot Salsa
    Handful of Jalapenos, chopped
    Few TBS of Milk

Cook and drain Hot Sausage, set aside. Cube velveeta and throw into a crockpot. Add cooked/drained hot sausage. Add 1 Jar Hot Salsa & Jalapenos. Put Crock Pot on High for about a half an hour and stir occasionally untnil everything is melted, then turn down to low. Add Milk to thin. I add Red Pepper Flakes 'cause we like to poop fire, but it's spicy as is.

Keep dip hot, serve with tortilla chips.

    YUM!

Here's another goodie, everyone else loves it, I think it's gross, but I hate cream cheese.

    Chicken Wing Dip:

    2 Bricks of Cream Cheese
    3 Chicken Breasts
1 Big Jar Franks Red Hot or Nance's Wing Sauce
    1 TSP Celery Seed
    Dash Garlic Powder
    2 Cups Mozz Cheese

Boil 3 chicken breasts until cooked. Cool and shred with a fork. Marinate chicken in Franks Red Hot, Celery Seed & Garlic Powder and 1 cup of Cheese for at least an hour. Spread Softened Cream Cheese in a 9 x 13 pan. Spread chicken mixture over cream cheese, top with 1 cup Mozz. Bake in 350 degree oven for a half hour or until bubbly. Serve with celery sticks, tortilla chips & Triscuts.
