But my worst of the three was as a Pharmacy Tech. Dealing with insurance companies and doctor's offices over the phone sucked. Also Medicaid people are mostly all ungrateful for anything. It lasted about a month."I'm not present, I'm a drug that makes you dream"0 -

UPS 3am to 8am shift....fuck that!
You unload tractor trailers and some asshole stands at the end of it with a fucking stop watch. I lasted two weeks and said fuck off.
Not sure what other one was that bad.
Ha! I tried the UPS thing and lasted about two weeks too. It was the holiday season and I had a conveyer belt in front of me moving at a good pace with all sizes and weights of crap that I was supposed to fit - perfectly and completely - into his enormous fucking trailer. All in like 1 1/2 hours. It was insane. I just couldn't keep up. I'm not the strongest guy in the world and my back broke down quick. The pay was great for a college student but I just didn't have it in me. My hat's off to whoever has worked at UPS.0 -

No, it sucked. I had to unpack the ballon, blow it up, chase the owner by radio through the back roads of CT during the summer. The trees blocked my view, so he would say "David...I'm headed North by North west on a heading of 21." what the fuck...is that route 67? His name was Thadious Burr, if thats not a hot air ballon guys name, I don't know what is. Then he would tell me to tell the owners of a house that he was going to "land" in their back yard. Well after they bitch at me about how they don't want him crashing in their back yard, he gets caught up in a huge oak tree. And guess who has to rap that shit back up.....me....and for a grand total of 40$ for a days work.BRING BACK THE WHALE0 -

Okay i'm like 30 and those are all the jobs i've had. As for the worst of the three:
1. Working in the field in South Carolina picking tobacco and other crops. Jesus Christ that is a hard job in the 100 degree heat and high humidity.
2. Loading trucks in a factory wharehouse. Again summer work it is hot as hell and that assembly line keeps spitting boxes and you have to keep stacking them and tehy are heavy as shit.
3. Retail sales. It just sucked having to put up with people and all their BS and sales goals that were not realistic etc.meistereder wrote:10 people who read this just signed up to take the SAT.

1. Orange Julius - "Would you like a Strawberry Julius with your chili dog?"
2. Frozen pizza factory. I slid the cardboard under frozen pizza. That lasted about 3 days.
3. Clothes warehouse. Put price tags on clothes. That lasted 2 daysNERDS!0 -

The only other job I can think of that I really disliked was working in a deli in a supermarket... twas only for a couple of months but they made me wear this ridiculous hat and the boss was a bit of a bollox. The Astoria??? Orgazmic!

Yeah i am. I just worked had to work my way through high school and college. I've been working since i was 14. So i did some jobs when i was young that pretty well sucked.
I grew up in a small town and moved there from up north. In that town if you did not know someone you did not get a job working at the movie store, gorecery store, or any of those other types of jobs, but if you were willing to work and do hard labor in a factory they woudl give you a shot.
So i did a lot of jobs like that.
I've been working as a recruiter/account manager now for many years since i graduated and i enjoy the job a lot.Charlotte 00 | Charlotte 03 | Asheville 04 | Atlanta 12 | Greenville 16 | Columbia 16 |Seattle 18 | Nashville 22 | Ohana Festival 24 x2 | Atlanta 25 x20 -
I only had 1 job I absolutely hated...working as a bitch at a golf course.
Because I was the new guy I got all the shitty jobs, and after I spoke up about it they made it a joke to give me the shitty jobs. I would have to be there at 5am and for the 6 hours I was there I had to weedwack around every tree on the golf course. I wouldn't even get a cart- just a gas can, some goggles and my weedwacker. It was the worst fucking job ever because it was never ending, whatever I didn't get one day I would have to get the next, and whatever I did that day would grow back in a day or 2. I was tired, hot (couldn't wear shorts if you weedwacked) and after 6 hours of weedwacking I wouldn't feel my hands because of the constant vibration. All for $7.50 an hour when I was in high school...
So because I kept bitching that I was the only one to ever do this shit job and everyone else got easy shit like raking sand traps and atleast got carts- my asshole boss gave me another shitty job: to go around the course with a butter knife (they couldn't even get me a real knife) and cut around every sprinkler head and yardage marker so that grass wouldn't grow over them. I swear I felt like the lady on Happy Gilmour because I couldn't feel my fingers at all. The boss used to ride my ass all the time saying I wasn't working hard and all that which really pissed me off. This job ended for me when they had me weedwacking again- this time an area on a steep incline by a big pond. It started to rain so it was slippery and I slid right down to the water dropping the weedwacker in the lake and out of sight- I still remember my thoughts: it was Tuesday and I was just like "fuck it I'm done" so at 6:30 that Tuesday I just clocked out and went home for good- I never even got my last paycheck.
worst job ever and I only got paid $7.50 an hour0 -
1. Cocktail server - the job I have now...our boss is crazy and yells at me constantly.. I work 4:30pm-3:00am and don't get to sit down or take a break for $3.00/hour. I get to keep all my tips, yeah, but if it's slow I'm lucky to take home $65 cash. Lame.
2. Victoria's Secret Associate - the girls there were batshit crazy...and they made me wear pink. But, I got free panties out of the deal.
3. Lifeguard - It was inside in the summer time, that was the problem. The pay sucked and the people were trashy.PJ: St. Paul 6.16.2003, St. Paul 6.26.2006, St. Paul 6.27.2006, Hartford 6.27.2008, Mansfield 6.28.2008, Mansfield 6.30.2008, Beacon Theater 7.1.2008, Toronto 8.21.2009, Chicago 8.23.2009, Chicago 8.24.2009, Philly 10.30.2009, Philly 10.31.2009, Columbus 5.6.2010, Noblesville 5.7.2010
