Okay i'm like 30 and those are all the jobs i've had. As for the worst of the three:

    1. Working in the field in South Carolina picking tobacco and other crops. Jesus Christ that is a hard job in the 100 degree heat and high humidity.
    2. Loading trucks in a factory wharehouse. Again summer work it is hot as hell and that assembly line keeps spitting boxes and you have to keep stacking them and tehy are heavy as shit.
    3. Retail sales. It just sucked having to put up with people and all their BS and sales goals that were not realistic etc.

    1. Orange Julius - "Would you like a Strawberry Julius with your chili dog?"

    2. Frozen pizza factory. I slid the cardboard under frozen pizza. That lasted about 3 days.

    3. Clothes warehouse. Put price tags on clothes. That lasted 2 days :)

I was a telemarketing scumbag for a day too :o refused to go back. That would also be on my list.

I worked in a kids club... for the most part it wasn't too bad... until they make you do things like dress up as the easter bunny and have kids LITERALLY hanging off you all day

The only other job I can think of that I really disliked was working in a deli in a supermarket... twas only for a couple of months but they made me wear this ridiculous hat and the boss was a bit of a bollox.

Yeah i am. I just worked had to work my way through high school and college. I've been working since i was 14. So i did some jobs when i was young that pretty well sucked.
I grew up in a small town and moved there from up north. In that town if you did not know someone you did not get a job working at the movie store, gorecery store, or any of those other types of jobs, but if you were willing to work and do hard labor in a factory they woudl give you a shot.

So i did a lot of jobs like that.

I've been working as a recruiter/account manager now for many years since i graduated and i enjoy the job a lot.

I only had 1 job I absolutely hated...working as a bitch at a golf course.

Because I was the new guy I got all the shitty jobs, and after I spoke up about it they made it a joke to give me the shitty jobs. I would have to be there at 5am and for the 6 hours I was there I had to weedwack around every tree on the golf course. I wouldn't even get a cart- just a gas can, some goggles and my weedwacker. It was the worst fucking job ever because it was never ending, whatever I didn't get one day I would have to get the next, and whatever I did that day would grow back in a day or 2. I was tired, hot (couldn't wear shorts if you weedwacked) and after 6 hours of weedwacking I wouldn't feel my hands because of the constant vibration. All for $7.50 an hour when I was in high school...

So because I kept bitching that I was the only one to ever do this shit job and everyone else got easy shit like raking sand traps and atleast got carts- my asshole boss gave me another shitty job: to go around the course with a butter knife (they couldn't even get me a real knife) and cut around every sprinkler head and yardage marker so that grass wouldn't grow over them. I swear I felt like the lady on Happy Gilmour because I couldn't feel my fingers at all. The boss used to ride my ass all the time saying I wasn't working hard and all that which really pissed me off. This job ended for me when they had me weedwacking again- this time an area on a steep incline by a big pond. It started to rain so it was slippery and I slid right down to the water dropping the weedwacker in the lake and out of sight- I still remember my thoughts: it was Tuesday and I was just like "fuck it I'm done" so at 6:30 that Tuesday I just clocked out and went home for good- I never even got my last paycheck.

worst job ever and I only got paid $7.50 an hour

    1. Cocktail server - the job I have now...our boss is crazy and yells at me constantly.. I work 4:30pm-3:00am and don't get to sit down or take a break for $3.00/hour. I get to keep all my tips, yeah, but if it's slow I'm lucky to take home $65 cash. Lame.

    2. Victoria's Secret Associate - the girls there were batshit crazy...and they made me wear pink. But, I got free panties out of the deal. :)

    3. Lifeguard - It was inside in the summer time, that was the problem. The pay sucked and the people were trashy.

I worked at a golf course all through high school and college and it was the best job I've ever had.

I'm now a lawyer and, thought I don't currently hate my job, I have also gone through periods where I'm unable to sleep because I can't stop thinking/worrying about work.

Did you have to work at 5 in the morning? What did you do at the course?

I worked on the maintenance crew. I would typically get to work around 6:00 or 6:30 and either cut greens and or change cups firs thing in the morning. Of course, there were things about the job I didn't enjoy but there is something to be said about putting on a pair of headphones and cutting grass.

    1. I worked at a run down department store for like a week (back in college) as a janitor - i was asked to clean up alot of puke and shit , i quit after a week there.

    2. i worked security for a high interest rip off credit card company in Delaware for a year - the head honcho thought he was a mobster and also thought i was his coporate gopher bitch. i saw my boss smack a maintenance worker and he later tried to jump my ass - we all filed an EEO complaint and got decent sized checks (a few grand) out of a band situation!!

    3. i worked security for the TSA (assholes who screen at airports) - i won't go into details but this organization is corrupt (long story) and i was so glad
    to leave
