That was one of the best explanations of sore leg muscles the night after I have ever heard. I never even thought about that. :p
well that's just what I've presumed. I bruise quite easily so I'll often wake up with bruises or scratches but yet not have fallen or anything. You don't feel things so much when you're drunk... so you may have banged into several things and not have even noticed :D
    The Astoria??? Orgazmic!
    Verona??? it's all surmountable

No, my legs just get sore kinda like if you are on your feet for a full day
I do get that! It's generally if I drink a shit load and don't sleep for ages. If I go straight to sleep I'll wake up with a hangover and if I try to sober up before going to bed then I get horrible muscle aches in my legs, feels kinda like growing pains.

Could be Restless Leg Syndrome... also known as Ekbom syndrome:

I used to suffer from this alot and it's nothing to do with hydration but it can be damn irritating and painful at times. I noticed it more when I lay down to sleep after i'd been drinking and it did indeed feel like growing pains.
Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

Does anybody else get sore/achy muscles after drinking hard or am I just a weirdo?
No, you obviously aren't doing it right. :)

Is there any reason why that might be exacerbated by alcohol intake?

I'm not so sure it's that. I don't really have a compulsion to move my legs to stop the sensation. Having said that, I've had trouble in the past with deferred pain supposedly related to an inflammation of my hip which I refused to believe at the time when the doctor told me because the pain was in my thigh :) Shit had me wheelchair bound for a week though :( This is a different kind of pain to that though.

    Bad joke.....and I don't condone this..... :p

Girl walks into a bar and orders a Bud Light and drinks it. She orders another, drinks it and then falls off her stool, passed out drunk. The guys in the bar proceed to "have their way" with the passed out girl.

Next night, the girl is back and doesn't remember a thing. Same thing happens - after two Bud Lights, she passes out and the guys do the same thing.

    Third night, same thing.

The fourth night, she comes in and the bartender says "Bud Light?" Girl replies, "No, I think I'll switch to Miller Lite. Bud Light is making my p*ssy sore!"
