Montreal just acquired Robert Lang..for a draft pick.
No Sundin coming to Montreal.
Thoughts?
Oh, we also re-signed Breezy to a one year contract....0 -

Lang should be an upgrade offensively over Smolinski, but I think Lang is too old to be considered a 1st or 2nd line center. I doubt he scores more then 50 points. He's no Sundin.
What does this mean for the younger guys? Does Chipchura stay in the AHL for another year?Sometimes life don't leave you alone

So I've been trying to get tickets to see the Habs retire Roy's number in Nov. No luck at all. Is anyone going? Does anyone know anyone with tickets? I want to go so bad. I live in NJ and don't get to go to Montreal much at all, but Roy is my favorite player ever, and I feel like I need to be there. If anyone can help out at all I'll be indebted to you for life (or at least for a little while)-one thing to remember, always have a good time, all the time0

I'm not a fan of their ticket system... very strange.
I'll check ebay, but I'm not going to want to pay $300 a seat for the nose bleeds. Well I would, but I'm married... so I cant.-one thing to remember, always have a good time, all the time0 -

Nice interview with Saku.
Problem is no one expected success from Mtl last year, and we ended the regular season first in the conference. This year there's no surprises...0 -
Two pre-season shootout wins against Detroit.
Price looked very good tonight.0 -
AMAZING game last night! Didn't seem like the preseason at all... I thought it was funny, though, when the TSN guys were raving about Price's backhand flip save in the third period, because my first thought was "He has done that before..."
It was amazing, but it's no big surprise anymore. Pacioretty was on fire too, obviously. What a kid.

The NHL network coverage/announcers BLOOOOOW.0 -
Mmmm, that's nice.
Habs looked quite a bit better than last night.0 -
Not too often can you get away with showing up for one period and walking away with a win, but I'll take it.
Lucky for the rest of the team Price showed up to play the whole game.0 -
Looking good so far tonight, even though its the usual whipping boy the Bruins.Sometimes life don't leave you alone

Oh man, this showing up for a period of play bs has gotta go.
Eeked another win out, Price was solid, Kostopolous put in a good game.
2 pts is 2 pts, but contenders play 60 minutes.0 -
Best start in 26 years. Haven't looked like we wanted to win them all but a win is a win.
Injuries already a pain (no pun intended) this year.0 -
I can't wait for Higgins and AK46 to be in the line up at the same time. That will make 3 impressive lines.Sometimes life don't leave you alone
