I might be bias being that its my home town and all but I'm streaming the show right now from pearljamlive.com and fuck me it was a good show. even ed said after evenflow, "what I'm about to say, i don't say lightly, uh, you are turning out to be one hell of a crowd." Anyone that went, do you agree? Also, they did THE best version of crazy mary I've ever heard.

In my top 5 of all time shows, definitely... The setlist was amazing and I loved when Ed said something like how the band seemed surprised at the amazing reception/energy they were getting from the crowd.

Haven't listened to that boot in awhile.. gonna have to pop it in!

Unbelievable energy, great setlist. I guarantee the next time they tour anywhere near Michigan GR will be a destination. They had too much fun not to come back. every time I see my drumstick from that show I get a big smile.

Just before that show, there was talk on this board that they could play "wreck of the edmund fitzgerald." Just before they played daughter, I believe, ed said they were going to play it. Does this possibly indicate that they are aware of the discussions on this board or just a coincidence? It's an interesting note about the show anyway, even though they didn't play it.

Hard to think of a better PJ show. Smoking hot set list. Crazed, progressive crowd. Awesome Crazy Mary.

    Next stop Bonnaroo!
    Rothbury (without PJ) too!

that and albany were the best sets of 06
    IMHO
  • Isn't that the show where they messed up the seniority seating? first row started at 170,000ish, and all of the oldies were in the back, weren't they?

That would explain the warm reception.
Add your benaroya vinyl # to the list!!!

i would have paid a gazzillion dollars to see some of the reactions of people who sit in the first fucking row for every show .................

when they received their tickets.....and they were up in the balcony....

that had to be fucking priceless......

Pete's birthday as well. A lot of little interesting points about the show. Had some technical difficulties at the beginning of the show also.
