i think that would fall under the category of "Disqualification"

looks like either we're both crazy, or we're both coming out with virtually the same number of winners, ceg. 1 of 9, 2 of 9?
i will keep my rounds and times a secret for now...a couple of bold predictions for you on the decisions, there! i'm tempted to cross over to your decision picks after your call on the liddell silva decision!
this event has a lot more question marks than the last one, i think. i found a lot of these really tough to call. i hope we're on about nogueira though! if he beats tim sylvia, i will be happy.

TOP KOREAN FIGHTER, KIM SIGNS WITH UFC
Tuesday, January 29, 2008
by John Evans (Translation by Mi Gyoung Yoo)
MMAWeekly.com
PUNDANG, South Korea – Undefeated welterweight Dong Hyun Kim held a press conference at the offices of the Super Action cable network on Tuesday to officially announce his newly signed contract with the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
Kim, who stands at over six feet, is a lankly welterweight who walks around at better than 185 pounds. As originally reported on the Korean website MFight on Friday, the UFC contract will be for four fights at 170 pounds.
Few other details of the contract were discussed during the conference, save for the speculation that since Kim had received a “better” offer than some Japanese fighters from the now defunct Pride Fighting Championships, his management team was hopeful that his first UFC fight would escape the anonymity of a non-televised undercard. His UFC debut is set for April or May.
In response to questions from the local media, Kim commented that he was not particularly worried about the transition from ring to cage, nor did he anticipate any problems with adding elbows strikes to his game while deleting soccer kicks and stomps. His plan is to relocate to the United States approximately one month prior to his first fight for cage training, but he has not yet decided upon a gym.
Though he got his start in Spirit MC, Kim is best known in Asia as the fighter who scored a third round TKO over current DEEP welterweight champion Hidehiko Hasegawa in a non-title contest, only to be handed a controversial draw in the rematch that followed.
He was cautious with his words today and the press conference rhetoric was pretty standard, but among fight fans on this side of the world, Dong Hyun Kim’s promises ring with truth.
“I’ll do my best. I will train hard and progress step-by-step. I will never let down my fans. So keep watching me.”
UFC fans will have no choice but to watch Dong Hyun Kim, as he will enter the ranks of the ten best welterweights in the world within the next eighteen months.

sweet! kalib starnes is being added to the montreal card in a match against nate quarry. should prove to be an interesting fight, and it's good to see kalib get on the canadian card.

so it's not looking like the super card it was shaping up to be at the beginning, but there are still some very good matches and excellent fighters on the card, and GSP of course!
so montreal now looks like...

hey ceg, i just caught this on mmajunkie...(after dropping you some well wishes for the fishin' trip!
)
i didn't think the pre-sale would start so long before general public sales! anyway, if you're back on sunday evening maybe you can have a peak, if not, whenever you get back. i've been trying to find info on where is best to sit and by most accounts, we'll have the best perspective from centre ice, either in the last few rows of the lower bowl or in the first few rows of the next level...but we may not be able to be "choosy" (is that a word?, choosie, maybe?
) anyway, just thought i would give you the heads up.
it's officially oficial!

holy s**t!! now THAT's important info!! this UFC membership is strange... i haven't received any emails about this, it's not in the NEWS section of the Fight Club site... but I did find a thread about it in the Forum. Their communication seems to be a little lacking....
The sale starts at noon... i won't be home until 3pm at the earliest, i think.... do you think that'll be ok? I was afraid this was going to happen!!
aaaahhhh!!!

sweet, i was hoping you hadn't left for your trip!
that's weird that there were no emails. they should get their shit together! haha
i wouldn't worry about hurrying home. no doubt this will sell out, but i'm thinking it'll be in the few hours after the general public tickets go on sale.
so rancho relaxo on the fishin' trip.
we should be cool for good seats...what are your thoughts on that area...lower bowl, last few rows, centre ice? sound ok? most people who have attended events and have advice that i've read have said to try to avoid the first few rows of the lower bowl and the outskirts of the floor because of the cage and all the camera people and event staff around the cage. supposedly if you can get to a point where you can look down into the cage and use the big screens to catch the up close ground action, then that is ideal...just passing along the info...it's entirely up to you, so wherever you think is best.
as long as we're there, it's all good!

thanks buddy...
i'll stop spazzing now.
actually, i think that the front of the upper level would be best, or the top of the lower level like you said... we'll see how the pricing shakes out. i agree that if we're too low, that the view could be blocked... plus, they'll be a fortune.
i'll bring binoculars...

then we are in agreement! exxxxcccelent!
time to call jonathan goulet to make an appointment with his stylist to get my "hair" done!
i'm thinking a fleur-de-lis design...

Hi Ceg!
You have probably already left for your ice-fishing trip, but thought I'd throw my two cents in about seats. I agree with you guys, basically as good as possible without being insanely expensive. As long as the three of us are sitting together!
