Mysterious movie trailer before Transformers last night...

  • The trailer definitely piqued my interest, but yeah, I have a feeling that aside from the big-pow explosions and chaos, it might suck.

... still, it looks a helluva lot better than that Nicole Kidman flick "The Invasion" or whatever it's called.

J.J. Abrams told aintitcool.com that the Ethan Haas sites have nothing to do with the movie he is producing. He did, however, say that http://www.1-18-08.com is the official site of the movie.

Since it's currently untitled, I think they should choose... for a catchy title:

so i got through 4 of the 5 puzzles in less than an hour but i quit after that... not to mention JJ is still holding firm that he doesnt know what this website is. if any of you watch LOST you will remember his game last year with the show.. this is def something he would do to cause attention to the movie. its brilliant if you think about it.. how many cyber nerds have spent the past few days looking for clues..

but word on the street is August 1 you get more clues...

I find it interesting that co-producer Bryan Burk and writer Drew Goddard also work with Abrams on Lost...

Yeah at first I thought it was the beginning of Transformers or WotWP2. Still looks interesting to me, but the movie probably wont be that great.

What's the latest on this? Cloverfield trailers have become much more visible, yet the terror/monster is still a mystery.

Wow... I have to say I think Blair Witch was a classic horror film.

THe girl in the film was so annoying though. The last five minutes of the movie was good but other than that not so much.

Saw Transformers last night: 'eh', good effects, and action, but overall just....'eh'.

BUT there was a trailer before the movie that really peaked my interest. It was shot hand-held style and showed a bunch of people at a party, when all of a sudden the lights go out, and they run up to the roof to see a huge explosion in downtown NYC. There was no title for this movie, and it moved way too quickly to really tell what it was about, but I am definetely interested in finding out more about it!!!

Anyone have any ideas what it was all about?

    what was it?

Blair Witch.....worst movie I've ever seen. I was practically running out of the theatre when the credits rolled because i was so mad at myself for wasting an 1.5-2 hours of my time.
