  • I think my old 8 eyed boots are covered in mud in a box at my mum's some place. I loved those things. For so long I only wore those things. I think at one time I owned like seven pairs  :o

... all different styles of course :p

I had ONE pair of Docs and never liked them. Maybe they never got broken in. I bought a pair of Born boots which are waaaaaaaaaaaaay more comfortable.

    Yep :)

Have a pair of black 8 holes that I bought when I was about 16...they set me back $180 at the time, it was over my weekly pay packet but I forked out and have been together ever since :D

Cant say I wear them much anymore, but nice to know they're still there....

oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.
  • I have a pair of purple old school Docs... Dave hates them :(
Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.
  • I don't really like DMs, they're too flat and not big enough for boots really. New Rocks are what I wear :D

I used to wear New Rocks when I was about 16! I remember the first batch being avaliable in Birmingham!

Bloody expensive for what they are. When I wore them they were good quality but they sold out to cater for the younger market... shame really.

Docs! I don't have a pair. But they are cool! I don't think they go out of style.

I don't think the quality is there like it used to be. Before 2003 they were made in England but now they're being outsourced and made in Thailand...
I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.

  • I have a pair of slip ons as well as a pair of DM wing tips that are probably 10+ years old.

They got trendy real fast..but when I see someone wearing them now I just think they wear them because they are comfortable.

I didn't really want to say "erm, you're right, Lady I've only met about twice since I was in a pram, I won't fit into those but I will have them so I can sell them on ebay, I mean, you couldn't possibly work out how to do that yourself could you?" :D

ive got a old school pair. jesus, they must be 12 years old now. still holding up good because over the years i didnt wear them all that much. since i got my bike though they are all i wear when i ride. in the last three years they really started to gt that worn in look going on and i love them more then ever. come to think of it, i usually have 5 or 6 pairs of footwear at any time. for example, right now ive got two pairs, one unworn, of adidas superstar II, two pairs of new balance runners, adidas and oakley flops lol.
