i can NEVER get sick of watching these movies..i love them! when they're on tnt i just leave it on as background
frodo is quite the little bitch though...it's all about sam, he holds the shit down at the very end. samwise representing!
I agree.
Have you seen the extended remix dvds? That makes the trilogy about 12 hours or more. It is awesome though. Lots of stuff that was cut out of the first releases, but pretty important stuff.
I have only read the Hobbit. Scary.
I don't care how many times I see the Two Towers...I am always terrified when the battle is about to take place. TERRIFIED.
And then when the elf (can't remember his name) is killed. :(
Incredible movies.

The elf killed in the Two Towers is "Haldir".
I've read all the books, have the extended DVDs have watched the trilogy a billion times.
I loved the movie, but hated the books. It's a good story but the way it's written is so laborious, I ended up skipping most the descriptions of mountains and landscapes it got too much. Plus the characterisation is way too minimal for my liking. They get away with it in the films cos they have so much to squeeze in, but in the book everything's drawn out and out and out, yet the characters don't really seem to have that much variety in personalities dialogue-wise and never develop (well other than the basic "hobbits were cowards, now they're brave" thing repeated 4 times over). In 3 long books I expect some character development!

Much love for Aragorn....
Thankyou Lauren.
It really broke my heart when he was killed.
Who doesn't have love for Aragorn.
I loved the scenes with Liv. They were awesome together. When she calls the river and then puts him on the horse? So beautiful. She was awesome.

Frodo: I wish the ring had never come to me, Gandalf.
Gandalf: So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for us to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us.
I always loved that quote.
I watched them some this weekend too i'm a big fan.
I make it my mission to watch the trilogy once a year at christmas time.
The books are awesome i've read them although it was a long time ago. I should probalby re read them soon.

I still dont think my ass has recovered from having to see all 3 of those movies in the Theatres.
Haha. I went to Trilogy Tuesday when Return Of The King came out. It was both the Extended Versions of the first two followed by the premier of ROTK. I was literally in the theater all day. Loved it though!

You know, my only problem with Liv as Arwen was at the end of ROTK, Aragorn and Arwen meet for the first time in a while and that kiss is the best they can do? Actually, she never seemed passionate enough for Aragorn in any of the movies.... yea, pretty sure I could have done a much better job!

I don't remember that last kiss.
You read the books...maybe it has something to do with that whole deadpan attitude that the elves exude. lol
They aren't really the most hot-blooded folks.
