So my wife had a dream that I was cheating

So now she bevlieves it! WTF??
I cant be guilty b/c of a fucking dream. She is telling me she will cut it off and everything. Man oh man, not fun for me.

LOL she called me at my store and said in a kinda kidding way " what are you doing? Getting a blow job in your office?" WTF? hahaha

    no, you cannot be guilty because of a dream.

    I don't remember most of my dreams. Only rarely do I have dreams so vivid that I recall the smallest of details about them. The ones that have been vivid are during times when I've been unsure or unclear about some things that had gone on in and around my life or some major changes (ie a new job).

    Your wife could have some daily stressers that don't appear that big of a deal (and have nothing to do with infidelity) but the stress is coming out in her dreams. She may not even see the connection since the dream was probably so vivid, it's the only thing she can focus on right now. And let's face it, that's not a great dream....
    believe it or not, we don't "need" anything. that is only the spoiled brat in us trying to fill some temporary solution to an emptyness that does not exist.

    I can understand that dream must of been upsetting to your wife but dreams aren't really supposed to be taking as literal. They are usually symbolic. It could be she's feeling insecure about something and you cheating was symbolic of that. But this is only my opinion.
    These cuts are leaving creases. Trace the scars to fit the pieces, to tell the story, you don't need to say a word.

    I had a dream my husband wanted a divorce...2 weeks later he told me he did. then I had a dream he was cheating with a girl from work....about a month later I found out he was (not the same girl from the dream but close enough).

    I know when I had my dreams (nightmares) all I wanted was to be comforted and kinda loved a bit more. Just reassurance is mostly all she wants...and a few more hugs. Telling her she's crazy will probably only make her feel worse.

    I had a dream like that once, and when i woke up i was so pissed off at my husband. I couldn't help myself - it was so real! I didn't tell him about it because I knew it was totally irrational...but I sure was mad!

    You had probably been noticing little things without consciously putting them together to form a complete picture. Your brain did that for you while you were asleep. I can't tell you how many problem that stumped me during the day only to be solved by my brain while sleeping.

    and you think you have it bad... I've got a friend who was found guilty to murder when the only "witness" was a person who had a dream that he killed the victims. There was no other evidence that could have reasonably convicted him.

    He's now serving triple life sentences for a crime he didn't commit.

    I've had dreams where my hubby's cheating and he is in the doghouse the rest of the day.
