Ah there's so much I couldn't even remember... I was the youngest, my brother the oldest and my sister the middle child. My sister was the most devious one... she used to get my brother to do all kindsa things! Once the two of them tied me to a chair and locked me in a cupboard

Oh don't get me started about my sis, Anything i can do, she will try and do better, even if she cant, she will try and try till she can do it.

But one day, my sister was just annoying me, one of those days where everything got on my nerves and we were fighting. We had just finshed dinner on the verandah and we had been fighting, and she locked me out. I went up to knock on the door/punch the door. Now we had unbreakable glass and i broke the fucker punching it. You wouldn't read about it. Mum cracked the shits, and I had to pay for and fix the window. When we were fixing it, I got a hammer to knock the rest of the glass out, and it wouldn't even crack. Scary to realise the power of someone when they are really fired up.

Moral of the story, don't mess with me :D

    Great stories.
My sister and my mom get soooo mad at me for always telling this story when we all get together. My mom and sis think I am nuts and that I wouold invent things in my head when I was a kid but I swear this happened!!!!

Once my parents were out to dinner and I was watching tv on the couch. My sister walks up to the tv with a video tape and says "Mom wants you to watch this." (I am laughing just thinking about this). So she puts the tape in and it was a porno!!!!! I was like 11 or 12 so I was embarrassed and said no no! So she took it out. LOL
My mom says that is completely insane and that I need mental help. hahaha
She also thinks that my sister probably wanted to watch it and needed a reason to put it on. Oh man my family is nuts.

  • These stories are hilarious. :)

Oddly enough, this thread makes me wish I'd had siblings closer to my own age. I have a sister and a brother who are 15 and 17 yrs older respectively. I am close to my sister, and she always made a point of being a big part of my life. Growing up, though, she was more like an aunt at times and more like a mom at other times. I feel like I missed out on "siblings", in a way.

My brother was more like a dad to me at times as well. We still had a good laugh though but... 15/17 years!?! :)
  • I have a twin bro and an older bro exactly 14 months older than me.

Growing up with them was ace but also quite brutal...

Once, my big bro pissed me off so I stabbed all his CD's with a drawing compass.

Another time, My twin bro set fire to the kitchen blind (don't ask) and I got blamed for it.

Then there was... the deadly nightshade incident, the 'Ex-lax' incident, the 'Babysham' incident, the game of 'cricket' that put two of us in A&E and the love of the TV programme Gladiators that resulted in my parents removing anything cotton bud shaped from the house....

Oh and the famous "My brothers have got Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles skateboards from Christmas, I can't have one cus i'm a girl so they can't have one either - proceeds to remove wheels" incident

And people think I'm bad now cuz I throw myself down hills on my bike! :D
Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.
  • but... 15/17 years!?! :)

Yeah, it's safe to say I was an accident. :D;)

Don't get me wrong, I have a great time with my sister and sometimes with my brother... But I definitely missed having siblings that I could fight with as a little kid. :D

I'm just surprise by that, usually it's common to see a big ae-gap with siblings in our cultures and countries, but rare in the U.S.

Both my brother and sister are technically half siblings but we grew up together with our mom, so I rarely use the term "half" eventually we have different fathers.

I know, it is usually a 10 year gap or less....I tell you I was a surprise for my mom and dad and my mom had a very high risk pregnancy with me...she was 41 and in 1979 I guess that was rare, unlike today. My Parents are Catholic so having a big family was a big deal, but that sixth child was a big SURPRISE!!

    The ages of all of us are 48, 44, 40, 36, 31 & 28!!!!

  • I have a twin sister and a sister who is four years younger. We fought about the usual crap, clothes, boys, etc. Honestly, I was pretty darn perfect (really!) ;) and usually the mediator between my twin and little sis. I recall one time my little sis going after my twin with a knife. My twin used to torment my sister until she reached a breaking point, hence the knife incident. Crazy teenage years!

    We all get along now!

2 of my older sisters and i Were at the beach. Coz they were4&6yrs older then me, they had to watch out for me. We were swimming happily and this big wave came. I decided to go underneath it so i wouldn't get dumped, they decided to go over it. Anyhow they both got dumped and were tangled in it, and i had made it out fine, until, my wrist gets grabbed (looking after me) and i got dragged under. I ended up with sand in orifices I didn't know I had

omg, I was having a friend sleep over and he just walked in and urinated in the corner. I screamed bloody murder. My parents came rushing up stairs, and of course *I* got in trouble for screaming like that when no one was hurt. My brother did not get in trouble at all, he just stood there snickering.

Little brothers are the WORST type of sibling to have I think. what pains in the asses. especially when you're quite a bit older than them. Now we get along great but I wanted to kill him every day until he went to college.

Sis is that you? I know she would say the same thing.
One time I said to my Mom and sister " was I really that bad when we were kids"? ........They both looked at me like I just grew an extra head. My sister goes " Are you kidding me?" They were both speechless. LOL

  • Now that I think about it, almost every kid I knew who had an older sister was a little jerk haha. My neighbor was just like that, but I had to hang out with him cuz he was just around all the time.
