You guys remember how cold it was in 06? Still a great show. Before I Got Shyt Ed dedicates the song to the people in the lawn and says that this song could be called i got shit tickets! Love the RVM.
I don't like the sound at the meadows but i'll take a show any day where i don't have to travel that far to get too. Wouldn't mind a night or two at Jones Beach this summer!

Jones sound goes to shit if there is even a breeze. I hope they dont play there. And I live 15 minutes away.

i read this time and again on these forums, and i am dumbfounded. i *LOVE* concerts at jones beach. sure, i have seen some shows with poor sound, but the issues CAN be corrected....and i've attneded more shows with excellent sound there than the reverse. i love, love, love shows at jones! i happily wish for another 3 nighter there! i miseed them there in 2000.....definitely would not miss em there now! *crosses fingers*
however, i will happily see them anywhere in the NYC vicinity. i went to hartford in 2006....don't think i'd go back. boston, maybe. depends on how many shows they do in NY. i WILL say, reading about rumors of them returning to hartford, and any/all places in the northeast make me soooo happy simply b/c it makes it that much more likely they WILL come back here, this year, and will have show(s) in NY! summer would be PERFECT!
you mean the parking lot scene.. I agree,,
But that show and boot remain one of my favrites .. best "Why go / Garden" combo of the whole tour..
Mikey's "Black solo" was jaw-dropping as well..
So after seeing this thread earlier i decided to listen to the show while watching some college hoops today. The Why go / Garden combo is SICK! Haven't listened to this show in a while and its pretty dam good. RVM is still my favorite from this show!

Exactly...the Meadows blows. Seats are way too far apart and I think they sprinkle season ticket holders in with the 10C seats. That said, I really hope they play the Northeast!
I would go again..Make it three out of three. 2006 it was the first of my five shows. I think EV was under the weather and it was cold and damp. The music was Ok, it was a good opener for my mini tour.
Harbor Yard would be a dream.
Thank you fellow 10 clubber for saving my ass....again!!!
You got that right. Back in 06' Koplick said he was trying to get PJ to play there.
Great small place to see a show. Saw The Who there a few years ago and it was great. Not to mention that Pepe's Pizza is right down the road now so it would be a great night.

Saw The Who w/ The Pretenders..That was just unreal.
Where is Pepe's? Always looking for somewhere to eat cause the food in that plus sucks.

Pepe's and Pearl Jam, the two greatest things on the planet. Though I prefer the original place on Wooster Street.

It was f'n cold for a May night. Crowd sucked, setlist was weak IMO - but I still had a blast. I'd be there again in a heartbeat if this is true.

Oh no...that means lou will be there? I may finally get to meet Lou? That is worth the 5 dollars in gas to get there alone.
I don't mind the Meadows. It is close.
Lou WAS in CT in '06 and was at Sweet Janes, but I didn't meet him. The bartenders/waitstaff, however, were, well, hmmmm, good looking. Enough said on that.
I'd do 'The Port'...Would be a fun, new spot to tailgate.
The Meadows was the worst PJ show I have ever been to. I hope they don't play there

Yes I agree. The new one is only 20 minutes from me so it is convenient. Going to take my son to the Peabody Museum Saturday and going to hit Wooster.
"Isn't Bridgeport even crappier than Hartford?"
As far as the city-worse. As far as the arena, no comparison Bridgeport is better.
Harbor Yard would be great. You have no idea.
The city isn't great, but the venue rocks.
