The question is 'Are you loved madly?' not 'Is anyone in love with you?'

Good... now go to your room and think about what you've just done. :D

I know what the question was...and it still doesn't sound right to me to say that my family loves me madly.
But I'm just being difficult anyway :p

Platonically? yes. Romantically? I don't know... I doubt it's love and I'm not interested in her so it's irrelevant... :o

I'm inclined to agree with Paul Westerberg in the lyrics to Bastards of Young by The Replacements. The person you love and the person that loves you are rarely the same person.

"The ones who love us best are the ones we'll lay to rest
And visit their graves on holidays at best
The ones who love us least are the ones we'll die to please
If it's any consolation, I don't begin to understand them"
"I remember one night at Muzdalifa with nothing but the sky overhead, I lay awake amid sleeping Muslim brothers and I learned that pilgrims from every land — every colour, and class, and rank; high officials and the beggar alike — all snored in the same language"

It's just been confirmed. I am loved madly by my husband who just spent an hour on the phone with me while the Oilers-Flames game was on tv. If that's not love, I don't know what is.

I have been loved madly and I have loved madly, and I will love madly again soon, because it is spring and spring is the time to love madly. Any takers?
I'll be at San Diego, Bonnaroo, NYC, and ACL (if it happens). hahaha

Seriously though, where is my pearl jam man! The guy who wants to travel around the world seeing great shows with a great woman! I know I spend to much time on my career and that doesn't leave a lot of time for dating, but the only reason I spend so much time making money is so that I can get to the next pj show. If I could only find a guy who not only didn't mind that, but would actually want to come along-holy crap-I don't know what I would do!

    Oh yeah, I do!
I know exactly what I would do!

Do you happen to have a sister or like-minded friend that lives in London?

being "loved madly" i definitely agree, is NOT about 'familial love.' sure, sure...the love of parent/child and/or amongst siblings, is a love like no other...but 'mad love' to me, is ONLY about hot and steamy, passionate romantic love. :D just my 0.02.
    Stay with me...

I don't agree with that at all. Personally, I think that's quite a sad way to look at things, and while it may not happen ALL the time...I don't think loving and being loved in return by that person is rare. At all. But maybe i'm just naive...

And in answer to the original question...unbelievably...yes. :o And I still can't quite get my head around it. :)

Is there really such a thing as being loved madly? Or is that new love lust and infatuation. Then real life sets in and you have appreciation and comfort.
