You know, for someone who started a big controversy on this board over your 'surprise' that men whom you casually invite over to your place MAY anticipate something romantic to happen.......you sure do obsess over sex, 'signals' and crushes on this board. You really come off as an attention-seeking flirt, no offense. You continually vindicate everyone who called you out in that thread.

I would say age does not matter, wanting the same things does though. If you click and want the same things for your future then who cares how old you are?

i do not think that is bad at all! age is just a number.

as far as the kids go, you would have to ask him how he feels about that. i know men that age who want kids and i know those who don't. it depends on the person.

Hey, Baby... taken a little out of context... wouldn't you say? Here it is in context:
Cosmo: "If all you want to do is bang him... go for it."
As in, looking for a relationship... find out what he wants and cut and run if he says, "No" to kids.
If you're cool with that and just want to fuck... go for it. I'm sure he'd be game (unless he's gay).
    ...
But you... you actually know Avril Levigne lyrics. All I know is, 'Da duh dada, lala la la... Skater Boy... skater boy. Nana nada. Da duh dada... Skater boy... skater boy'
    ...
And it was just joke, Love.
Except for the part of finding out where he stands about kids. Because as an old guy, myself... the thought of an infant... crying at 3 A.M.... changing diapers filled with toxic waste... fuckin' aye.
But, the part about just banging... fuckin' aye, Jack!

what?whyare you asking ..go for it
  • what?whyare you asking ..go for it

I'm not sure either if this is a Jeff Ament joke or if she's being serious.

In my personal experience, I know a few people in relationships with big age gaps and none of them are working well... but the age gap may or may not be the cause for it?

I wish you the best tish - unless you're talking about Jeff, in which case it might be a good idea to get over your crush a little bit. :):):)

    think about the future...

ok, my dad and my step mom are 13 years apart. they got married when she was 18 and had 3 kids. now she is 60 and my dad is 73. she seems 40 and with his bad feet, he seems 80 compared to her. he can still do alot but he can't go for a walk around the neighborhood with her for example. when she wanted to go to a concert, she had to go with her daughters.

    it could work though!!!

I'm nearly 9 years older than my husband. He's my second husband. My first husband was almost 3 years older and very immature. My second husband is nicer :)
