duuuude, did you not get that?! I was quoting Trainspotting again. You obviously don't like Ewan McGregor that much :p I just substituted your name into so OTHER people would think I was serious. I'm saddened that you thought I was serious about the motherland *sobs*

I love Scotland. It's my heart.

She was called Dawn in the proper, sorry I mean the UK version. Played by Lucy Davies, the daughter of a very famous comedian, with a different surname.
I've never seen the US Office, but I think I'd struggle after loving our Brent for so long..!

I'm sticking with Dan Day-Lewis, the more I read here, the more I think how simply excellent he is in everything.

Brad Pitt was good in Meet Joe Black, as was Hopkins (when is he anything else?)
I enjoyed that, get laughed at whenever I´ve mentioned it though, seen as a girlie film.

James Gandolfini (Tony Soprano), such an array of expressions come from what first appears a stolid, mean-spirited countenance.

Many more but some fucker got there first, had to delete most of this post as it looked like the reply to ´Girls in films you´d most like to give a good goosing to´.

Even better is the way Robert Carlisle says that line :D He's just amazing in that film. When Spud goes to jail and they're having a wee dram in the pub and Begbie says "It was fucking obvious that cunt was gonna fuck some cunt one day" it's just the most perfectly hilarious line :p

As for the others, I have been recommended In the Name of the Father too many times, for too long on this board, thanks to Helen mainly. I bought it online last night. Should arrive soon. Can't wait. Daniel Day-Lewis is fantastic and I'm very interested in anything related to the irish troubles.

Did you ever hear about Day-Lewis' last performance on stage? He was in a production of Hamlet in the late 80s/early 90s and during one performance he collapsed to the ground and started crying and then had to be taken off stage. He said afterwards that he saw his, not Hamlet's, father's ghost. He hasn't been on stage since

Daniel Day Lewis (in the name of the father was the best EVER performance IMO)
    Don Cheadle (hotel rwanda)
Jodie Foster (the accused and everything she's been in)
Maggie Gyllenhaal (I've a kinda girl crush on her... what was that one where she played a waitress or in a bakery or something?)
