well, you were never gonna lose to them, I mean...come on :p it's more about what it says overall, and that is...England are an average team who very often don't even reach those dizzy heights, and mostly it's down to the massive egos/salaries/expectations...whatever, they never come up to the plate.
    I came, I saw, I concurred.....

I think they call it managing expectations ... save us being constantly disappointed :o:p
So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?

Edit: at least you are managing something ;)

thankfully being Scottish means i live in a world of disappointment... to add insult to injury i became a Notts Forest fan :D
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

hey, don't kid on....when you were a kid Notts Forest won the European cup 2 years running (champions league to those younger than me :o) you went after a bit of glory I'd say :p.........ok, it went spectacularly wrong for you and you deal with it, but they were quite good then :)

well, we've got your word for that :D They were still a top club then...hang on 14? who did you support up to then? that's late man, but they had a decent team in the late 80's...Neil Webb, Gary Parker....Stuart Pearce! Tell me you didn't want him to do well when he played for England? He was a warrior, awesome!
